Make your verbal intentions casual but flirt with your body by having strong eye contact, smiling, having light physical touch and teasing her in a playful way with some push pull.

Don't be overly friendly and if there is vibe at the end just ask her out lightly like "you seem fun, we should go out for a drink sometime". If she accepts, grab her number, set up logistics and during the date is where you'll be direct.

If you flirt well she'll know your intentions are not purely platonic and in settings like this it's better to be indirect and let things flow naturally.

At first I would just come across as casual. Make some small talk, crack some jokes. If you feel a girl is reacting positively and reciprocating your initiative to get little more familiar, you can keep going with developing your interaction and relation and eventually move it outside of your current context of bachata class by suggesting spending more time with each other in different circumstances, naturally and casually.

Only after things escalate do I say things like that in the beginning acknowledging the effort she puts in.

I am also a bachatero in this sub. Social latino dancing clubs might be double edged to flirt with women, especially if you do it a bit "off", you can easily get a reputation for that. One really interesting thing which is truly original in this setup is that I would say you can start with two ways, the classic (seducing by talking) or the physical one (seducing while dancing). Those are complementary.

For the classic, try to talk a bit more with your partner after a dance, common questions might be enough to start a discussion as "for how long do you dance?" "I didn't see you here before, that's not normal, I must know you!" Always be careful about your surroundings: drag them out of the dancefloor if you talk more than 1 minute.

For the physical, get some level, invite her to dance and just feel the music with her. Listen to her body and lead her. Sensuals or influence bachatas are perfect for that. Former is just asking a series of questions.

The latter, you do something to.evoke an emotional response - which could take a gazillion different forms depending on the situation.

Honestly I could give specific advice but I think you can also try talking to the other girls there where the fun is the women will follow n don't get so hooked up on 1 girl who knows maybe the other will help u or you connect with someone better! Be friendly so you have to talk to her. Then gauge the vibe. If it’s good try to escalate a tiny bit to gauge her compliance. Or just ask her out on a date. Hey escalate I mean causally Touch her arm. Little bit of kino. See how she responds. If it’s positive you are ok. If it’s negative then try to build more rapport and try again later.
