Practise in the mirror, with your friends and family, little kids. Work your way up. Even while holding eye contact with a kid it might be difficult for you but be aware during it and get comfortable with yourself in that time/

I was shy and under-confident about myself. Worked on a lot of things and got my confidence up. I never thought of “eye contact” but what I learned is I discovered gazing. I started enjoying it. Gazed when a girl is passing by, started enjoying it and got to know they also love it.

A lot of the guys will just stare or check them out sexually. If you learn to gaze with all the desire and a positive vibe they’ll feel it too, they’ll give you fuck me eyes and drool over your eye contact.

I went through this and eventually I observed my eye contact is way better and seductive in conversations too.

Occasionally looking into their eyes can make for a nice intimate moment, but mostly when it comes to eye contact I fake it by staring at whatevers directly behind their head. Or you can look at the bridge of their nose, their nose itself, their eyebrows, anything close enough that will take the pressure and anxiety of actual eye contact away from you!

Also I hate to say it but practice really does help you get used to it! Make sure you stay relaxed (or at least fake a relaxed exterior even if you're a bundle of nerves inside). Look up and practice relaxed, open, intiving poses for your body. Casually leaning, no tension in the shoulders/jaw, open chest/arms, etc. The more you fake the confidence the better you'll get at it and eventually it'll start to turn into real confidence. Just have fun and don't take it so serious!

Don't force yourself to make eye contact, you will do it badly and look creepy. It is no different than talking to your friends, but if you have a story to tell, you will forget about "eye contact" - that reflex will come naturally. Better think about the stories/jokes you tell to the girls and don't even think about "eye contact" - you have no idea how bad it looks if you consciously force yourself to maintain eye contact.

I understand you very good. I always felt like that especially because one of my eyes sometimes squints(?) and i don’t know when. I realised you shouldn‘t Care less. You‘re getting older now and Girls like that are bitches that prob are miserable. I think you should work on eye contact in General. Forget about who is pretty and forget the seduction just try to be Friends and have fun. If you have one or two females that you can interact normal with, just like your guy friends, it will help you a lot to work on your Social Skills. Practising in the mirror won't help because when you staring their eyes your excitement urges and you can't keep it. Best way to practice is just look at every person's eye while you walking through people.

Overthinking and pressure to make a good impression,low self esteem all these can be the reasons for not being able to make eye contact. Better to avoid fantasizing about women....U can achieve all this by not sexualizing them and also think that they are also humans.Next time u see any pretty girl just look at them for a few seconds and then glance away briefly to avoid staring and always keep a genuine smile on ur face to keep it real

One time i was camping. I walked past the place where you can clean plates and stuff. there was a girl and she was waiting. she looked nice and i did not try anything with her. I looked and she looked back. I smiled friendly and she did too. She looked away smiling. the rest of the week everytime she walked by she looked nervous (in a good way). Her friend or sister tried to make her say hi to me but she was to shy.

I really underestimated the power of eye contact before that.

It is the tot that counts in my opinion. Just like beautiful pets look at them and just admire the beauty in their eyes how you look at them and conclude they are pretty because of their natural endowments look into their eyes and scale the beauty of the colour, the size, the energy , how it compliments their beautiful nose, lips, facial structure,skin colour and so on. What worked for me. Go to an area you will not see anyone ever again, so like the downtown part of your city, and just make eye contact. No matter how big or small, whether you eyefuck them or glance for a second, you go there and you cannot return home until you've truly exhausted yourself.

After that you should have something to build on in your day to day. So increase the number of eye contact reps and time you hold.

Rinse and repeat.

It may not be the best method but it is certainly foolproof.

I think eye contact is overrated. It often doesn't communicate confidence; it communicates arrogance, entitlement, domineering, and can even be taken as a threat. Sometimes avoiding eye contact is more confident, as well as the socially acceptable option.

I don't think this is a bad thing as most guys stare far too much, just the occasional glance at her breasts would be enuff to show interest.
