I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking about this. Getting fed up and sick of being shoved down the narratives of men vs women, right vs left, boomers vs genz. It’s pretty much useless to see things from the tribalism perspective, anyway. Us vs them. It only gives you the feeling of belonging to a group, but the actual problem is still there and you fail to even see it let alone solve it.
Some people complain on how night life is declining steadily. It’s not like it used to be. Which is true. You can google it and there’s news all over especially in the US and western Europe. I’d even say that bars and clubs are residues from 20th century. Think about it: why would you wanna buy overpriced drinks if you could just “netflix and chill”, hitting on women on OLD in order to get a hookup or an ONS, or just create a house party where you buy drinks at regular price, invite your local friends and ask them to bring their friends? The latter is more efficient. Pretty much like physical calendar or newspaper. Who wanna buy a calendar and nail it on the wall if there’s one already in your phone? Or you can just browse news online? Lemme say this: If things are getting irrelevant yet stay costly, they deserve to be extinct.
Similar things with how some guys complain on how women basically don’t have to do anything to get what they want. Like seriously? If a hot chick comes to you and said “you don’t have to flirt with menu, buy me dinner, and go thru all complicated methods, just sleep with me already”, would you do it? Of course you would. Anyone would. This is why logically-speaking, women seem to be entitled to get what they want because they see that it works. If it doesn’t work then they wouldn’t even consider it. And to add salt to injury, we keep saying that women are emotional creatures, yet we complain when women act like this. The totally-logical act that benefits them. Why staying loyal if multiple guys can afford my lifestyle. Why sleep with him if he already gave me what I want without having to spread my legs. Why paying for premium if you could get it cheaper or even free. Why buying a cow if you can get milk for free. Minimum effort, maximum output.
So before you complain about some cities, some places, some women, some generation, maybe things have changed because they become more efficient. The real question is whether you can observe these situations and adapt accordingly. Or you could just grumble like an old man yelling at the sky.
