I have just been told that she is only willing to take our child while I am working in order to help with the cost of daycare. She expects me to be primary custody/sole custody, and while she says that she loves our child, evidently taking them for 4 days out of the week is too much.

I was trying to make sure my child knew their mother, and would build a connection with her. Obviously, that is not the case.

The plan from now on is to obtain sole custody, and I will be figuring things out from there.

My heart breaks for my kid. They are going to grow up, knowing that their mom didn’t care, and didn’t want them in the first place. I feel so bad.

It took a lot for me to put aside my grievances, and try to work things out with their mom. I was under the impression that she loved our child as much as I did. Apparently that’s not the case.
