Every time a feminist says or does something blatantly bigoted such as being a misandrist, hateful, or being outright hostile to men, the feminist hivemind just says, “That’s not a real feminist,” supposedly disowns that person, and moves on. Like the movement has a built-in reset button. No accountability, no ownership. Just pretend the person never represented feminism to begin with.

That’s goalpost-shifting. If someone acts under the feminist label, they don’t get to be disowned just because it’s inconvenient. But this only works one way.

Try the same thing with MGTOW or MRAs. One guy says something extreme, and suddenly the entire movement is written off. If anyone pushes back, it’s called mansplaining, incel rage, or worse.

Why is this double standard so acceptable? Why is feminism allowed to separate itself from its radicals while men’s movements are defined by theirs?

Also, basic criticism of women even if the statement is grounded in fact is instantly labeled red pill, misogynist, or toxic. But feminists can say openly hateful things about men and no one bats an eye. It’s either ignored, rationalized, or praised.

There’s no such thing as “real” or “fake” feminism. If someone calls themselves a feminist and speaks in the name of feminism, it reflects on the movement. Same standard should apply across the board.
