Idk about other people but I thought tinder was mainly for hookups. Hinge was good but most of the attractive people are behind a pay wall. Bumble worked best for me but this maybe different in your area.

Online dating was super easy for me. I couldn’t see your profile but here’s a few tips. - women hate selfies. Even if you have to stage your own photos and get a camera stand. Do it. - create opportunities for women to engage you. Not sure about tinder but add prompts or text so they can comment and start dialogue. - move on quickly. As a dude I had to carry the majority of conversations. When the effort isn’t worth it move on and do it quickly! - get off the app and meet in person asap. Have a quick conversation on the app then plan a date. Unless you’re dealing with scheduling conflicts try to meet within three days of match matching. Strike while it’s hot! - intro date idea. There nothing better than a zoo membership if it’s possible. It’s a great way to talk to get to know some, there’s plenty to talk about from the animals, exhibit details, or just people watch. A lot of adults without kids don’t go to the zoo that often. Members cost like 100 and you can use it whenever you want. It’s also really fun to check out the zoo when you don’t need to get your money’s worth. You can see how they act around kids, strangers, and animals. Avoid starting with dinner, coffee, or drinks. Feel free to end there but don’t start there.

Advice. No group pics. No sunglasses. Try posting a few pictures with smiles. Gut all the stuff you want or dont want. Instead try a funny one liner - "Looking to meet people in person - and not spend weeks of endless txting back and forth".

Good luck. Id also say, dont take online dating so seriously. You'll get matches, get ghosted, get weird ppl liking you - just go with the flow and dont get too upset when your DREAM match doesnt even respond to your "Heyyy, why are you single" opening line.

I’d imagine demographics play into this a lot. In my 6 months of post D swiping, Tinder is for hookups and bios don’t matter (ironic or not that I met my ex her 13 yrs ago…). All of the dating apps are a volume game, you have to do the 1000 views for 100 left wipes for 10 connections and 1 date. Numbers don’t lie - gotta keep swiping and build that pipeline no matter how much it interferes with the image you have of yourself. I consider myself the nice guy and gentleman too - this doesn’t matter to the masses, bc actions show these qualities, not a few picture prompts. Hang in there and good luck OP!
