Women love to use the "it's men's day every day". Where I work for women's day women are given a day off and a dinner by the company. One guy jokingly said it's not fair that men have to work that day and was immediately hit with "it's your day every other day of the year". Like what, when does he get a day off because he is a man? It's such tiring victimhood bullshit.

The women-are-wonderful effect is a well-documented psychological phenomenon describing the tendency of both men and women to view women more positively than men, particularly in terms of warmth, empathy, and morality. I literally got hated on for being proud of saving women's lives from a car wreck and another time from drowning.

People responded with "men are why woman are in danger"

Apparantly it doesnt matter that ive never harmed woman, that ive literally saved womans lives.

Im still the enemy because I dont grovel.

That’s not misandry. And if it is it’s not that bad. And if it’s bad the women have it worse. And women have it easy then men deserved it.

IMO as a gender.....we need to make a shift.

I see every day....men lining up in the comments of a post or video to give women positive feedback, encouragement, uplifting words when she's upset or hurting.

But when it's a man who's struggling in a video, where are we? We should be showing up and giving that man the same. He's one of us. He's our brother.

I have been trying to do it more and more when I see a man who needs it, because we have to support each other. I have also noticed that some of us don't want to, and I'm saying that's a problem.

We need us. You cannot always count on women to have your back, they don't always. But I'll be damned if we give up on each other.

If we can't trust each other to be there for ourselves.....then we are totally compromised from within. Women are gonna do their thing and it gets a little vicious sometimes unfortunately. But when you pass up a video of a man who's hurting and you don't step up.....that's a failure of advocacy for men.

And you, the one person who's reading this who wants to downvote or tell me I'm wrong (I wrote this ahead of time because this always happens lol, look, I didn't edit the comment, I anticipated this lol): you are part of the problem if you have a problem with this. Standing up for men is also standing up for your fellow man....right there. That's standing up for men!

Maybe take your comment that you were gonna put on some pretty girl's video (who doesn't need a 999th comment about how she's gorgeous) and take that same energy and show up on a man's video or post who's hurting. I know, it's not the same thing. I know, it feels weird. Our fathers didn't teach us to do this. But it's important. There's a man out there who needs you, or us, and one day perhaps he will be there for you.

That's men's advocacy. Fight me if you must. But I care about us.
