A man and a woman have a disagreement. Let's say it's about Age Gap dating. Some pills say that at some point in the argument, someone will resort to SIGN language as a manipulation tactic.

**Shame:** "you're just jealous you've aged out" or "you just want to control her"

**Insults:** "older women are damaged goods" or "can't date women your age?"

**Guilt:** "how does it feel to be this controlling?" or "you're old enough to be her father"

The "need to be right" typically manifests itself with not answering direct questions, refusing to engage in hypotheticals, ignoring evidence, always talking about the exception, etc
