Often I see high school teacher had sex with her students. And those are often good looking women.

The good looking female teachers are more likely to make the news and get more attention, which leads to the belief that most female teachers with male students are good looking. But many cases they're not good looking, they simply don't get as much media attention or attention from viewers.

Crazy!! Actually most child molesters news I see are women. Maybe because its more sensational but it just makes me wonder.

Women are overrepresented as sex offenders in media. There's a few reasons for this:

First reason is because of the gender role violation. People don't expect or think women could/should do this. So you'll see words in the articles like "mother", "mother of 2". As well as comments from people under the articles saying, "how could she do this", "how could a woman do this", "how could a mother do this", etc. But invoking the mother term in the articles also softens the perceived harm to the boy because people think of mothers as nurturing, caregiving, etc.
The second reason is because the adult woman-minor boy dynamic is more likely to be sexualized, especially if the adult woman is at least decent looking. Hence why you'll see words in the articles like "romance", "had sex", "affair", and using attractive photos of the woman. As well as you'll see comments under the articles saying, "lucky boy, wish that was me", "where was she when I was his age".

Basically, the whole point is - it's profitable to over include women as sex offenders in articles.

But the penalties they get are crazy low in comparison to men comitting the same crime.

Not necessarily true either. On average, men get higher sentencing for these types of crimes, but it doesn't mean women get crazy low penalties compared to men.

I often use the volume vs. proportional argument.

More men are sentenced for sex crimes than women are. So you're more likely to see men get very little or no prison time, very high prison time, and everywhere in between, because of the higher volume of crime.

But, proportionally, women, on average, are more likely to get lower sentencing compared to men.

If they had relevant stats it would not be demonizing.

Only if those relevant stats were taken from some currently non-existent country where women aren't given notably less harsh penalties for the exact same crimes, should the be penalized at all.

But that's not what feminists usually claim.

Nah, usually they state outright that "98% of rapists are men" simply because they know that most reporting agencies don't call it rape when women do it to men.

I make all my conclusions based on evidence so long as evidence exists. I saw the data somewhere on reddit and I didn't save it. I am just hoping someone else has seen it and can share it. Nothing about that is me searching for data based on a conclusion; it is just me searching for data that I have seen before and if you read the body of my post, you would know that.

There is nothing wrong with outsourcing the discovery of data sources. It's called delegation, and its smart and frequently used as a method in high-level positions.

There is actually credible mountains of evidence that say you're mistaken.

According to the CDC study:

Made-to-penetrate (MTP) is literally rape defined in a way that allows females to rape without being classified as rape, but according to gender neutral terms and legal definitions, MTP is rape. The distinction according to this study is that rape is when the perpetrator penetrates, and MTP is when the victim is forced to penetrate. Therefore the rule is written to categorize the male perpetrator act as a different term than the female perpetrator act for the exact same act which is a form of sexist discrimination favoring females which allows the creators of the study to say men make up most rapes because we have categorically excluded female forms of rape from the definition of rape. Both of those actions are rape when using gender neutral terms. You have to add up the 'rape' and 'MTP' numbers which actually turn out to put females perpetrators far ahead of males when you account for all categories of rape.

I'll do the math for you. This data is from Table 3.8. Here is the data copy/pasted directly from the CDC Study:

Let's just ignore instances where male and female perpetrated as they come out neutral. To get the male total perpetrators you have to add (1,464,000 rape + 1,071,000 MTP) = male perpetrators of rape = 2,535,000. and to get the total female perpetrators you have to add (160,000 rape + 5,312,000 MTP) = female perpetrators = 5,472,000

Male perpetrators = (1,464,000 + 1,071,000) = 2,535,000
Female perpetrators = (160,000 + 5,312,000) = 5,472,000
Total instances of rape = (2,535,000 + 5,472,000) = 8,007,000
Male perpetrator ratio = (2,535,000 / 8,007,000) = 31.7%
Female Perpetrator ratio = (5,472,000 / 8,007,000) = 68.3%

Conclusion:

Of all rapists, 68.3% of perpetrators are female and 31.7% are male. According to the data, women rape more often than males at a rate a little higher than 2:1. This is a verifiable fact from the CDC.

Terminology clarification and justification:

The difference in the CDC stated conclusion and my numbers is that I am using gender neutral (non-sexist) terminology for what qualifies as rape and the CDC is semantically classifying female perpetrators of 'rape' to instead be called 'made to penetrate'.

To point out the hypocrisy of these sexist terms "rape" and "made-to-penetrate", if a male drugged a female or threatened her at gunpoint, and then had sex with her, you would inarguably call that rape( and that action is classified as rape in this study). If a female drugs a male, or points a gun at him, and then she has sex with him, her act gets classified as "made-to-penetrate" in this study which they claim is a special form of "sexual assault". They also go on to say "rape" is not "sexual assault", but in this case, "rape" and "made-to-penetrate" are the exact same act from the perpetrator -- the only difference is the shape of your genitalia. One of the consequences of defining the terms this way forces female victims of statutory rape to be classified as cases of 'rape' while male victims of statutory rape are classified as 'made to penetrate' despite the fact that a male victim of statutory rape is legally classified as a case of 'rape'.

Prevalence:

This data is a comparison of yearly rates. I chose to use yearly rates instead of lifetime prevalence because as we go back in time males were taught that it was not possible for them to be raped according to law and scientific classifications and less and less males that are older believe that what happened to them is 'rape' and so their responses are culturally biased to make them fail to report their incidents at a rate way higher than females who were contrarily culturally trained to identify the act as such.

It demonstrates that men commit the majority of sexual violence overall (because most victims are women and their perpetrators are male).

I believe you are getting mixed up by the measures (male “made to penetrate” rates and female rape rates) And making rather incompetent generalisations off of it

This is also a rather piss weak attempt at arguing for wider society

Usual issues you seem to struggle with cropping up again

You’re adding data from different victim populations. The rape table primarily reflects female victims (because rape, as defined there, focuses on penetration of the victim). The made-to-penetrate (MTP) table primarily reflects male victims.

you’re mixing two different victim groups with different base rates meaning the totals do not represent “all perpetrators in society.”

Also, each number represents “Among victims of this specific category, what sex was the perpetrator?” It doesn't represent “How many male vs female offenders exist overall.”

The coherent conclusion which is perfectly critical is that "Men commit the majority of sexual violence, but women are a substantial minority of perpetrators, especially in made-to-penetrate cases involving male victims". We don't need to misinterpret data and generalize when we don't have the data there

I am not going to waste my time teaching you how to read and think critically, rationally, or logically and understand ethics as you clearly need data to conform to your prescribed conclusions.

Keep on letting the world tell you what to believe little parrot.

I literally publish data for a living and know how to read it and make it. I understand when the narrative and data are being manipulated to tell a preferred story, and the CDC is twisting information and you're eating it up.

But they published the data, and the numbers don't lie.

They are tricking the audience to believe these categories are apples and oranges and the reality is their both apples. I'm the one seeing through the facade that the data and terms can't mask and you're the one taking the bait.

Of all rapists (including MTP), 68.3% of perpetrators are female and 31.7% are male.

Females are more likely to commit rape than males according to this single stat at a rate a little higher than 2:1. I admit its a cherry-pick regarding sexual criminality and doesn't account for SA.

It is an interesting stat and I'd honestly not heard it much before, I'd still be sceptical blurring the line between them given they are categorised differently but it's definitely enlightening

I would still say these stats are being generalized based on a niche, and when we look at wider stats by the CDC it tells us the broader reality

Women raped: ~19% Men raped (penetrated): ~1–2% Men “made to penetrate”: ~5–6%

We are as you admit picking and choosing which isn't much use when trying to make widespread gender specific generalisations across a very broad topic.

And ultimately, it still doesn't say much against the evidence we have of sexual assault which was my original comment. You're correct that non-consensual sex itself is much more balanced and nuanced, but nothing more.

My claim was always that we have mountains of evidence that sexual assault is overwhelmingly committed by men. Your evidence didn't refute that, it simply added nuance to the fraction of sexual assault which fall under the category of rape + forced penetration

It also did little to refute the established literature on pedophilia / CSA, where cis men still disproportionately represent

This data that you linked does exactly what the data source I linked does and you can see it right here; they literally define rape in a way that excludes males from being counted as victims and thus their data says zero males were raped. it is a sexist discriminatory definition of rape that is intended to maximize favor for female victims while neglecting male victims entirely in order to gain political funding and favor:

It is really important to note here that my original data source is about perpetrator rates, and the one you have now linked is about victimization rates. If you combine the information, females and males are victims of rape at a ratio of nearly 1:1, but females and males are perpetrators of rape at a ratio of nearly 2:1.

I agree to an extent, socially / morally it's clearly rape

but to me it seems they make a distinction because the two have different victim variables / effects / implications making a legal distinction helpful in some situations

E.g. MTP victims may have greater odds of reporting a wider variety of chronic health conditions

Men forced to penetrate women often face unique emotional harm rooted in societal myths about masculinity which this sub is all too as ware of with rapey female teachers.

MTP victims also face significant barriers to reporting due to the fear of not being believed, partly because of issues like you say with it not legally being recognized as rape. Which may be even more notable than the barriers women face.

So for me, I think perhaps in the sphere of research and statistics it's important to have some kind of distinction because having that nuance best helps us tackle the specific kind of issues that lead to male victims not getting justice. Legally I don't see a reason why we don't take the Australian approach and make it about cooersion.

And of course, this doesn't hold much of a candle to the point I made in regards to sexual assault overall

You need to be WAY more careful when interpreting these papers the way you are.

This study is about 300* women and 135 odd men. The percentages obviously will translate dreadfully. But you also didn't factor in the differences between the male and female sample

For Pedophilic arousal, it involved 3 male participants, and 4 female participants. And for engagement, this involved 1 male, and 2 females. Put it into percentages relative to sample size for the sake of playing along for your sake despite how incoherent it is.

Pedophilic

Arousal Men: 2.4% Women: 1.4%

Engagement Men: 0.8% Women: 0.6%

Hebephilic cba to do the maths myself but I can see its the same trend where men display higher rates of arousal and "engagement" of we take that term at face value here given how it depends on how participants interpreted survey items.

I made it very clear that I am looking for the source and only have a screenshot of data and can only describe it how it was previously presented. I don't have any of the source information -- only what some other posters decided to say about it. I wanted the source to verify/debunk and its asinine to give me a hard time for literally making a post with the purpose of doing exactly what you are saying I should do.

Thank you for the link my guy. I really appreciate it, but giving me shit for it certainly wasn't necessary or helpful.
