I am referring to the following scientific study:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27699698/

The problem with their assertions, is they assume that a lower female sports participation rate must always indicate instances of discrimination.

They assert that women are less likely to participate in sports due to supposed social and cultural barriers resulting in them having less free time, less funding for female sports facilities and alleged fears over personal safety.

Well, various scientific studies also showcase that women priortise different things in life when compared to men, such as spending more time with their families.

Female sports facilities might receive less funding, due to the fact that women's sports are less professionalised as a result of the inherent biological differences and not because of supposed "Sexism".

And finally, I am not buying the narrative that women are less likely to participate in sports due to alleged fears over personal safety.

I am pretty sure the primary reason is they are less interested in participating in sports when compared to men.

What are your thoughts about that?
