Unapologetic Misandry is reinforced by multiple things, not just narratives. So, as I see it - there are two layers at work :

System / Institutional Layer

Laws and quotas backed by political support
Women being treated as the default victim
Bias in institutions like academia, courts and policy
Media constantly reinforcing the same narrative through news, movies, TV and entertainment. There is a seperate publishing category called feminist literature

Social / Group Layer

Policing & control of male behavior through campaigns and messaging
Control of women & attacking or isolating women who disagree
NGO Social media campaigns (plus shaming grievance sharing & moral pressure)
Allies and foot soldiers repeating “feminism is for everyone” while dismissing male issues

It's about control & power!

Yes, Exactly! If feminism was truly about equality they would be actually listening and would care about what men go through and try to solve these issues. Meanwhile what happens is that no feminist wants to expand conscription to women or hold women accountable for anything.

They would rather focus their effort on denying male victims support and justice than to solve either mens' or womens' issues. So of course that feminism is just a hate movement.

Feminism used to be a set of politics centered around the liberation of women from traditional female gender roles. Believe it or not, in the early days men's rights activists organized alongside them, and they were initially allies. But the extremists took over and wrecked it.

Now it's like a fledgling fanatical religion that has just found its feet and converted the powerful, and is moving through its hypocritical "burn the heretics" phase. You cannot question it. You are obliged to deferently mouth its blessings and dogmas. Most people call themselves feminists only to avoid social censure. They don't know the first thing about feminism and they continue to live exactly the same way they lived before, only now they call whatever it is they are doing "feminism". If they want to be traditional wives, then that's feminism. If they want a career, then that's feminism. If they didn't like trans people, then that's feminism. If they did, then that's feminism. As long as they signal loyalty to the religion, they maintain some social respectability around whatever it is they say.

I imagine when Theodosius made Christianity the official state religion of Rome, the pagans must have felt the same way watching all the new "converts" explain how their ancient fertility rites and jumping over fire pits was Christian, actually.

Feminism is regressive. Feminism is now about upholding and enforcing traditional male gender roles, and one of the main things they mean to enforce is the idea that men are never to show vulnerability, but to endure abuse silently and without complaint, and either overcome our challenges alone or die trying. The second we say we want to support each other, we are already in violation of our assigned role.

Whether it's more mental health resources to help suicidal men, helping lonely men build social connections, helping boys struggling with school, supporting more feminine men who are bullied and excluded over it... whatever it is we try to do, do not doubt for a second that they will fight us every step of the way. Every scrap of progress we achieve, feminists and their supporters will be in front of us, doing their utmost to sabotage it, block the way and shove us back.

I wish it were different, but I'm resigned to it by now. There is nothing you can possibly discuss with people who don't see you as their equals, or even as fully human. They're powerful and have to be reckoned with, but I think right now it's more important to build a sustainable and positive idea of who we are and where we want to go in our cause than to lament the corruption of what is quite literally a lost cause.

I strongly agree with the second part, when you talk about how the most hateful posts about men in feminists communities get the most likes/upvotes, they will bring up the first wave definition (which is equality) and then attack you as if youre attacking equality (note: personally I dont believe in equality unless women have the same responsibilities).

And whats funny that even first wavers didnt stick to the definition and turned against men and used their movement for money and privilige.

Feminism and communism are like two halves of the same apple. We see the state of communism. I mean, just look at China. After the communist threat disappeared, I wonder what feminists really won for women? They do nothing but beg for small things from big companies, billionaires, and governments. Their pointless attacks on men are because of desperation. Without their communist brothers, they are in a deep existential crisis.

Incorrect. People in general have a tendency to blame the problems beyond their comprehension on some bogeyman to either avoid solutions to favor the problem or justify giving up on finding a solution because the imaginary bogeyman can't be reconciled with personal responsibility.

Although, women do have a tendency to prefer problems, and resent anyone who offers a solution. 'Just listen to my feelings, dont help me. You're emotionally unavailable for caring enough to offer solutions.'

Feminism by design gives women cPTSD. This type of brain injury allows Feminism to hijack women's morality, personality and identity. It also allows Feminism to install triggers into women to cause programmed responses and behaviors.

Where, a combat veteran may be triggered by loud noises resembling weapons fire. A Feminist is triggered by men. A feminist sees misogyny in every shadow and becomes irrationally fixated on finding something, no matter how trivial or false, to unleash the rage that Feminism installed into her mind.

When you put fear into someone, then you manufacture consent that this imaginary fear is real. It becomes self-reinforcing.

Ie; The sisterhood, never lets a sister think for herself or question if the fear is true. Other women will bully a woman and accuse her of "Internal Misogyny" if she questions the brainwashing.

Trauma-based social engineering.

Break the mind with trauma, rebuild the mind with the "correct" idealogy.

if we're keeping your logic that men can hate on women then women can hate on men, boom 50/50. also misandry is a response to misogyny, however misandry does not kill men at the volume and span of time that misogyny does, and of course not all men kill or abuse women, but globally over a period of 50 years even less the numbers add up. also if a man says a joke about rape or even something as so subtle as saying crack in reference to intercourse, women are told to chill its just a joke. but if a women says that men should i don't know be a househusband then its wait that oppressive, bro chill its a joke.

I've got a strong hunch feminism is on a self-reinforcing downward spiral of misandry, mostly because of Tinder and Bumble etc.

They can left swipe all day on passably handsome inconceivably (to them) horny men, then when they finally right swipe their top .001% chiseled god who messages them back and hooks up with them, then blows them off -- they take it out on ALL men.

Bitch YOU did that. The only difference between you and some average horny dude who would like to hook up with a supermodel is, it's actually possible for a woman to get one hookup from a much fitter, better looking man if she left swipes enough.

Misandry predates feminism by a very long time. There's plenty of recorded history of women having berated and condescending views of men, and women organizing, and validating each other, via gossip and social pressure against men. Feminism just took that same kind of hatred and refined it further. It organized and weaponized misandry on a mass scale. It abused revisionist history, projection, misrepresentation of data and men's virtually unconditional love, support and tolerance for women(systematic social power/privilege that women have over men) to feed the flames.

Agreed. You're discussing the latest wave of third/fourth-wave feminism, that has largely become misandrist.

First and second-wave feminism was about gender equality, and I can 100% get behind that. But the feminism from the past twenty-plus years seems largely focused on hating men, and that sexist, discriminatory crap needs to go.

You're painting feminism too broadly. There are, no doubt, feminists who hate men indiscriminately. However, in my circles, this seldom happens, you'll often see young women who fight against men oppressing them (such as men in a position of power who touch them without their consent) and the misogyny of the manosphere while at the same time having deep sincere friendships with guys and caring about their hapiness and well-being. They reject gender essentialism and would never say that "all men are trash" or "all men are potential rapists", instead, they'd point out that toxic masculine ideas widespread in red-pill communities make it far more likely that men would legitimise sexual assault or downplay the trauma it causes.
