Doesn't piss me off at all. I see most of it for what it is -- ridiculous. Any time you're being shamed into being "unethical," ask the question "Would Brad Pitt be shamed for that?" The answer is almost always no. Women's ethical views regarding male behavior is usually based around the attractiveness of the male in question.

The huge majority of women are not hot. Hot women are a tiny minority among obese and scraggly fugly chicks.

Complaining to one another about always being ogled, hit on, harassed and objectified is one way women try to one up each other. "Oh yeah, loser guys can't keep their hands off of me. It happens so often (because I'm so desirable) that it's a serious annoyance."

Most of the complaining women are not, in fact, the objects of such attention, but feel compelled to exaggerate just in case the other woman they're talking to isn't also exaggerating.

I cringed at the headline of the AskReddit thread when I first saw it, because it seemed rigged to be a hatefest. I was glad to see that at least most of the high-rated comments (at least when I saw it) started by saying, "Most men don't do this, but for those that do."

Do remember that womanhood didn't say these things. These are the explicit preferences of individual women, which more or fewer or tons or nobody agrees with, depending on what they said. An individual woman doesn't want guys dancing near her to start touching her. I'm sure there are some women who agree with that, though obviously there are also other women who are hoping to hook up on the dance floor.

Similarly, a woman said she doesn't like being checked out, and some agreed with her, but others absolutely love getting checked out. TRP loves operational rules, so threads like this are frustrating because these ain't those. The most you can get out of it is, "some women feel this way," which can be kinda useful but is hardly cut and dried.

It shows their world view of them being the high-hanging grapefruit and the men being the hedonistic animals trying to get a taste of it.

To be fair, TRP only disagrees with the first half of this sentence. Men being "hedonistic animals trying to get a taste of it" is kinda built in to the foundational theory of TRP (and what you should do about that truth -- learn self-control, understand gendered psychology, practice framing -- are the recommended practices that stem from it).

Finally, I'd bet that TRP could absolutely flood a thread entitled, "What would you like women to stop doing?"

Women are inconstant by nature. They do not, and cannot, have principles, because (1) the brightest among them are guided by feelings as much as facts, (2) they rarely think ahead or critically entertain hypotheticals, and (3) they are not consciously aware of their own desires and motivations, so they cannot predict what their behavior will be in a given context until they actually experience that context.

Therefore, no categorical statement a woman makes should be taken seriously. Women are not analytical, and they don't place much if any value on deductive reasoning. They are comfortable with saying one thing one minute and its opposite the next; in fact, they will retroactively reinterpret their past statements to be consistent with their current statements. At most, you should consider their statements to be accurate reflections of their real beliefs at the time those statements are made.

Never doubt for a moment that anything a woman deems categorically "too far" would not be too far in some other context, if the man were more attractive, or if she were at a different point in her mating cycle, or sometimes even if the lighting and aromas in the room were different.

No. Anger is for the newly initiated after realizing the massive disconnect between what we have been told and what is actually the case.

After you start recognizing women for their double standards, filters, and shit tests, you begin to expect it.

Not that women are dogs, but the metaphor holds true. If you have a dog that continually runs away for days on end if you let it off its leash, then it is your fault it is happening because this behavior is EXPECTED.

I think it's funny. No feminine, attractive woman would want to live in a world without sexually confident men. So I just interpret this as women being annoyed at sexually UNconfident men (betas or in their terms, creepers). Which is fair - beta males are annoying as shit and do weird annoying crap that fucks with everyone's good time at the club. Women get mad when these guys presume to mimic the behaviors that belong to men of higher status, like confidently checking her out. They can feel the cognitive dissonance and it feels as gaudy/fake, like a rich white boy dressing black and posting rap videos on Youtube.

I think it sucks that women cannot conceptualize how their own brain / body works in this regard. But I also find that hilarious too, because these reddit girls are probably all average looking girls who have never gotten commitment out of anyone who wasn't a full beta, and probably fantasize about some high SMV celebrity aggresively pursuing them in the club and making them feel desirable.
