I suppose it would help in healing if there were some level of fairness or equity that is experienced within the courts.

I have a strong feeling that this is where a lot of the animus comes from.

It is mind jarring to hear a judge, who is supposed to be impartial and one to uphold the law admonish the person who is pointing the law out.

judges have truly become lords above men.

I've gotten to the point where I want to say to the court that this hearing is a waste of everyone's time, just rule against me now so I can continue on with my day please.

I totally agree with you. I wouldn’t piss on my ex if she was on fire! And I mean that quite literally.

She used the family court to screw me over as much as the court would let her. When my ex first filed she submitted a declaration with 25 items. I proved in court ~~order~~ under oath that 19 of the 25 were outright perjury and the remaining 6 were he said, she said and couldn’t be proven either way. I requested the judge charge her with criminal perjury.

What ended up happening… the judge ruled in her favor. When my lawyer asked what grounds she was basing her (the judge) decision on, she said that she felt I was too angry and that I could become a threat.

When asked if she was going to proceed with the criminal perjury charges against my ex the judge said “if I charged someone for every instance of perjury, I would have to charge every woman that came through my courtroom.” This is the literal quote from the court transcript. I have been working on getting this judge fired and disbarred for over two years now. It is criminal the shit women get away with in our society.

So all this to say I feel for you my brother. Seems like our boats are floating down the same river of shit.

It does get better. Trust me.

I was in that same rut. I had a deep seated hatred for my ex. But you have to let go. If you have hatred in your heart, you will never find peace. Since then, I've found a good woman that actually likes me and the kids. She's struggling, begging for money everywhere she goes cause they can't afford food.

It just takes time. And when you get to a place of peace, your life will improve vastly

Mine is out almost every weekend spending on meals, concerts, traveling and then cries about how broke she is. It's gonna get a lot worse for her when we finally move apart although she'll get a good chunk from the house sale to blow.

It started like that for me, but 5 years later and 5 years wiser it’s the opposite, even my kids have wised up as they have grown up. They love their mum, but also know she is a hard core bitch, and generally avoid spending too much time around her, even to the point of feeling sorry for he current BF, saying he’s to good for her, and he must have super patience. If you are a good person, your kids will see both of you for who you really are, and sometimes the divorce is what lets you be who you are supposed to be.

It happens man, you’ll get there. Vent, cry, try to do something to better yourself everyday, whether that’s cleaning up, golfing, gym, just 1 thing a day that makes you feel like you accomplished something. I’m about a year and a half out from my official divorce day, but closer to 2 years from separation, I still have days where I’m like what a miserable horrible fucking cunt my ex wife was/is.

You can receive therapy through state controlled entities such as RHA or Cardinal Health that don’t cost you anything. Church is a good place to talk to someone as well.
