When I was 18, I went and had my belly button pierced. Growing up with helicopterish parents, I saw that as my token coming-of-age act of defiance.

I'm 22 next month and heading to grad school in the fall, so quite a bit of growing up has been done since then. Discovering the red pill this year only reinforced the thought that it needed to go. The other day I looked in the mirror and I was like, "Wow, this actually looks really trashy. No wonder my mom was horrified." It made me wonder what kind of impression I had been giving men all this time.

Into the trash it went, and I haven't looked back :) Just wanted to say thanks for giving me a nice dose of reality, ladies.
