Sometimes I think what am I doing all of this for if life after age 30 is such a lonely and boring experience? What do I have to look forward to anyways compared to everyone else?

There's plently in life to make you happy and fill your soul. You can't dive too deep in TRP/manosphere mentality, though. That shit's good only up to a point. Did you fuck lot of girls and get that out of your system? Ok, that's done then. Now look around the manosphere, what do you see? Aren't there plenty of guys saying that bedding women didn't make them happy? Aren't guys like Roosh constantly mentioning how what he and many others actually wanted was to find a decent girl and have a decent relationship?

That is possible. It just takes a lot of work. The "don't get married, don't have kids" mentality is more of a warning than actual directions for life. We should get married. We should have kids. We just shouldn't do it only because people around us expect that from us. We should do it with clear conscience and an awakened mentality, knowing the risks involved. Finding a good woman is hard in today's West. But it's a good enough goal, and that will make you happy.

What has worked for me so far: after years of following advice from PUA literature (which works, of course) and bedding women, I eventually got tired of it, dropped the nerd-atheist-redditor mentality (which is blue-pill as fuck) and read up on christianity. Converted to catholicism. Joined a church. Married a catholic girl, had a kid. Never been happier. Some around here might say that my future's bleak, AWALT, and at some point the carpet will be pulled from under my feet. So what? Many RP writers are just angry kids. I'm a grown, old man. I'm actually trying to help young guys like you construct a fulfilling life and move away from the anger/depressed phase.

The future is promising if only you can believe in other people's goodness -- that means believing that some women are good. The first step is believing in your own goodness, though.

Connect with friends you truly relate to on a deep level. Actively seek them out. Also learn to be happy with yourself. I get the vibe that you're not truly happy with who you are and what you want in life or what you do. Follow your passions. Volunteer a bit, pick up a hobby, backpack and hike or whatever.

It's all up to you what you do man. Don't let your heart grow weary. You've got this shit and don't need all that garbage Hollywood and the world rubs in your face non-stop about these romance delusions and so on.

Get rid of the profile based social media like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and so on. Seeing those people from the past isn't doing you any good man. Seeing them all getting married and leaving off to do the shit you want and having SEEMINGLY wonderful lives in comparison to yours is bullshit. They only show the highlight reels of their lives and an illusion of how they want to portray it as.

We all have long ways to go. I know we can have our doubts, as with anything in life, but within us is the capability to rise above and keep on the path to a life of freedom and and pursuit of our own desires. We hold in ourselves the ability to do as we wish, nothing tying us down.

As someone who hasn't got his shit together yet at all (im 26, 27 in feb), this mentality is very common but is total bullshit. There was an excellent post in the main sub about how life after 30 is not actually more boring at all, and in fact can even be better. The difference is you have to put in work on all facets of your life. In the mainstream culture there is this ideal lifestyle perpetuated that is essentially: Be young, be beautiful, and be rich, all other alternatives are undesirable.

If you think about this rationally you see its unattainable by 90% of people and just simply untrue. Look in the main sub for that one post, I won't find it for you, but it completely busts the myth that life after 30 in all cases is boring, menial and dull. In fact, it can be better than your 20s ever were.

It's like sure the money is going to be great, the nice ride, and being financially well off and all but I am still going to mainly be all by myself unless I get married.

I know a few guys who got married... and subsequently divorced..

they are just as lonely as before, but with half their paycheck... and a whole lot less of the assets that they used to have.

I'm 20. I made a conscious decision to sacrifice whatever I need to sacrifice to get a first class honours degree in electronic engineering. Everything I do is focused on the end goal. I go to the gym mainly to keep a clear healthy brain so I can work more efficiently when studying. I socialise very minimally to make sure I don't go insane.

I will graduate at 23 years old. With the ground work I've put in, and the ground work I will put in (extra curricular activities, fluent in 3 languages, academic achievements, internships) I will likely start on close to 6 figures in finance (I'm in europe)

I dont understand people too well and I never really have. Socialising has always been something I've struggled with. I've kind of given up on it to some extent.

In my twenties I was different. I wanted to socialize for the sake of it, get drunk, do drugs, party and bullshit.

The point? Don't worry about stuff that is more than two weeks into the future. Seize the day and all that instead.
