The only reason you want to do this is to make her aware of what you're changing. You're trying to speed up the process, but it will do the opposite. And it solidifies that you're doing this to impress her rather than because it is who you are (or are trying to become).

For what it's worth, my wife knows about fight club bc I stupidly left shit open on my phone and she saw it. I DEERed like a bitch when she confronted me about it too, but at least I knew enough by then to draw a boundary by telling her I will read whatever I want, whether she likes it or not. Also made it clear that my actions are what matters, and to let me know if she has any issue with my behavior. She's not brought it up since, and has not once mentioned anything about me behaving badly bc I'm reading "toxic and misogynistic" stuff online. They like the results, but they don't want to look under the hood. It's ugly and dirty and confusing to them...so just don't.

If my wife found out that an online "men's movement" group was what turned me and our marriage around, 2 main things would happen:

She would no longer feel tingly that she had a special and unique husband who intrinsically figured out how to improve his life, take care of himself, and become an interesting and attractive person. Instead she would feel I was following other people and their recommendations. This would make me less of her snowflake.
She would be very curious about what sort of online community could motivate such changes. She would spend time browsing MRP, askMRP, and TRP. And do you know what she would focus on? All the stuff we say about women and their emotions, treating them like children to make them happy, how to dominate them in bed, how to withdraw affection and attention when they don't give us the sex we want, AWALT......and on and on. And she would ask me if I think all that is true. Then she would realize that I likely do think it's true no matter what I say as I'm reading it and changing because of it.

Given that she fancies herself a feminist, I don't see how she could reconcile what she now knows her husband thinks about women, vs. how she wants him to think about women.

So I can't see any good in a man letting his woman know he finds truth, insight, and wisdom here, or in any books that are closely associated with this place. Too risky.

I fobbed it off with "I want to be a more assertive guy at work" which she bought. Ha. Thinking back now she must have just always thought I was a weak man...

I listened to the advice I received in OYS and upped the opsec and didn't bring any MRP stuff up again.
