Hello, my fellow queens! This is a post I have been meaning to make for a time as I haven't seen attachment styles brought forth a lot around here. We all want to vet men and pick the one who will add maximum value and benefit to our lives. Since I am an avid reader of psychology books, I thought to share a little tip with all the lovely queens on this sub: knowing about attachment styles will help your vetting process. Tremendously.

My therapist recommended that I read "Attached" by Amir Levine and Rachel S. F. Heller. At first, it seemed weird to me, but, then this book was a real eye - opener. Why? Because it helped me asses my own attachment style, alongside my significant other's attachment style so that I can determine how compatible we are on a level that's different and deeper to me than, say, liking the same kind of music. Sure, being a metal head myself with a metal head SO is great, but knowing our attachment styles (Secure and Secure) fit? It gave me extra confidence.

Psychology can be your friend, sisters. It can help you predict someone else's behavior. It can save you weeks, months, years of heartbreak. It can be a very resourceful tool for you. It can be your friend in your vetting process by offering you a more specific frame to work with while you're out there living your queen life.

Dating is already tricky and risky as it is for women. Romance can be enjoyed and it can be wonderful, but only if we manage to keep our cool and pay close attention. By no means I am the Supreme authority in how each and every one of yours vetting goes or should go. I only wanted to offer all of you better tools in the future so that you can add more tools to your dating strategy toolkit. Play it safe and, most importantly, play it smart out there, sisters! 🌺❤️
