Individual attraction is subjective. Just because you're less attractive from an objective standpoint doesnt mean that your wife sees it that way. The emotional connection factors into sexual attraction pretty heavily for some of us (not saying that physical attraction isnt part of it too but again, its all subjective)

For me, I had always felt if I was a guy I'd get a huuuuge ego boost that she chose ME, despite being a high-quality woman. This would essentially trump the fact that she can get other guys and she would look/at like other guys and other guys would do the same with her. I'd feel like "still fucked tho/I'm the one smashing that ass and HE'S BETTER LOOKING THAN ME hahahahaha" I was genuinely surprised when I grew up and found out (recently, at that) that there are so many misogynists and incels who can't take a good thing for a good thing. Shit would definitely make my dick hard if I had one. That's also why I was surprised when I grew up and found out that guys are less accepting of sluts than I had thought from a young age. If I were a guy I'd get an ego boost off of my girl being an ex-hoe because I'd feel like "Fuck yes, I scored the most desirable woman"
