Every few days, there's a post asking:

  • What makes a high value man?
  • What is a high value man, or more recently a description of a man with high value traits where the guy was cheating on his pregnant wife with the OP (wtf?!)

Thankfully Deborrah Cooper is to the rescue once again and has a video that contains the Tenets of Manhood

  1. He is a man of his word
  2. Doesn’t bring harm to others
  3. Takes responsibility for his words and actions
  4. He’s an example for others to emulate
  5. Stands up for what’s right
  6. Protects those too small, old, young or weak to protect themselves
  7. Makes his presence felt (by being useful)
  8. Is courageous
  9. Makes sound decisions
  10. Puts in the work

When you take these principles into account, it’s easy to see that a HVM isn’t one just because he’s a CEO, but because of how he treats his employees, how his business makes money, what he does with the money he earns, etc.

So it’s not a question of what, but how a man chooses to spend his time on this earth.

It might be easier still to think of HVM as High EFFORT Men, rather than relying on economic status alone.
