In theory, 80% of women are regarded as "dateable" while only 20% of men are. Simply because of differing terms on what "average" means in terms of overall attractiveness

80/20 does exist for women, where the top 20% will receive the first attempts, the most compliments, and the most attention. The difference is that men are fishibg with nets, not poles, and are giving attention to the entire % he considers fuckable at once.

The bottom 80% of women are more likely to be ghosted by chad.

If you lined up 100 random females and had males all rate which one they found the most attractive it is reasonable to say that 80% of the male's votes would go to around 20% of the females(20 of them). This would also stack on top of itself, so 20% of that 20% and so on and so forth.

the 20% lower percent in that principle, would be the ones that the top 20% men wouldn't touch for some reason or other.

Either being too ugly, fat/skinny, mental, or very unhealthy history overall.

People who think that the Pareto distribution obtains the way OP describes don't understand it.

80% of the sex outside LTR's is had by 20% of the men out there in no-LTR land. Women are the gatekeepers for this sex, so the obverse does not obtain: 20% of the sex women have outside of LTR's is had by about 20% of the women. 40% of that sex is had by about 40% of those women. 60% of the sex... you see where I'm going.

Going with the "20% of all men tap into the pool where 80% of all women are", this could mean that the women who don't belong in that group are either too unattractive to warrant attention or simply happen to never fall for a Chad. But probably a mix of both.

A girl for example who completely refuses to engage in casual sex and has always done so (and didn't just change her mind after a bad experience or two in that regard) but is also unable to get a Chad to commit to her, thus only dating within her league and pretty normal, non-promiscuous guys would qualify.

Of course this hinges on my personal interpretation of the TRP 80/20-principle, namely that there's a pool of semi-promiscuous or promiscuous guys who are successful when it comes to obtaining romantic encounters outside of relationships; and dipping into that pool as a woman makes you part of the 80% (in other words: if you never ever spread your legs for such a guy, you belong to the 20%).

But who are the 20% of women in this rule and what are they doing?

They're having non committal relationships with the top 5% of men or so. Sometimes they reach a top 1%, sometimes a 5%, so they believe they have too many options and too many doors for them to settle yet, unless it's an obvious 1%ter man seeking her commitment.

Just a guess, but perhaps 80% of the women end up being mothers whilst 20% die as bitter, old cat ladies.

The 80/20 Rule under TRP is ***NOT*** a pareto principle. .

A reasonable theory is this:

: The top 20% of men *attract* the top 80% of women. They "attract them'; they don't marry them or even fuck them, but they are the guys that they want to "get with".
