The same physical standards should be applied to everyone regardless of gender. If most women cannot make it, oh well. But women shouldn't get discriminated against just because of their gender.

No one should be required in the military, and the US should not go to war in Syria or anywhere else.

I am highly against any kind of draft or forced military join. So my answer is no, but it is the same for men. Those who want to go to the military shouldnt be stopped however.

If I have a military regimen and I set the bar fairly high so that I exclude anyone who might be detrimental to a unit, then all the women who pass said bar may qualify.

The whole idea that the US military decided to lower the fitness requirements of new recruits for more women to pass is highly detrimental. The women who made the cuts of the previous requirement qualified to join, but for every one of those women, you'd probably have a significant amount more men who were equally qualified if not more.

I am comfortable with the notion of equal opportunity, but I am not comfortable with the idea of forcing equality.
