Women are portrayed as disposable to high status males

In mafia movies, low status females prostitutes and strippers are portrayed as disposable. Same as with most crime movies. Women are more disposable when you're dealing with people who don't care about consent.

King Joffrey and American Psycho all disposed of females.

Then there are the horror movies. But these are more about punishment killings against hypergamous females and they do sort of prove the rule about male disposability as you wouldn't care about males getting killed so you have to show females in peril. But you could consider serial killers high status as they are often supernatural in nature.

But females are disposable to males who don't care about consent(criminals) and to people who are high status enough to have options.

Males are of course still much more disposable and the only defense they can offer is "Please, I have a family." so their only worth is that their death might hurt a women.

But a woman's disposability to men is linked to that man's status and how much a man is willing to operate outside the lines of consent.
