Why are anti-RP people so hung up on RP in particular? What is it about RP that sets it apart from traditional PUA "woman hating" material that we've already seen before?

To me, RP is another, more evolved form of PUA that puts less emphasis on dressing like a clown and using lame pickup lines and more emphasis on personal development and actually getting guys to fundamentally (as in genuinely) change themselves both physically and mentally so that they don't have to rely on cheap parlor tricks that is (was) traditional PUA. Traditional PUA told guys how to come across as more douchebag and 'alpha like' to pickup sluts from clubs, RP on the other hand tells guys to stop trying to act alpha and actually (genuinely) become the type of guy who women see as 'alpha', basically to become the kind of guy who doesn't have to feel like he's having to put on a PUA mask in order to come off as more attractive.

In other words, RP tells guys that can't rely on fancy cloths or cheap PUA lines, they must first have to self-actualize within themselves and then women will naturally gravitate towards that natural confidence as a result. Traditional PUA was phony attractive while RP is about being genuinely attractive. Make sense?

So when I hear RP-critics say how their only problem against RP isn't the bits about self-improvement but about all the meanies who say bad stuff about women, it doesn't make much sense to me because so what if RP can be hostile towards women? it's not like traditional PUA ever had a good standing with women and feminists, traditional PUA was also labeled as hateful and misogynistic.

So what it is about RP that sets it apart from what we've already seen before? why does it deserve this special dose of criticism and hate it gets from RP-critics? If anything, you'd think RP would receive less criticism because unlike traditional PUA which just told guys to put on a mask and use cheap parlor tricks, RP tells guys to cut that phony shit and actually become a better and more attractive person overall, not for the sole purpose of getting women but rather to be self-actualized and fulfilled regardless of women...and of course women will naturally be attracted to a guy who lives for himself an isn't desperate as the theory goes.

Basically this:

Traditional PUA - "To get women you gotta do x-y-z, dress like this, neg her like that, use this pickup line.."

RP - "Dude, quit that shit. You gotta fix yourself and get your shit together first. Become a better man overall and women will come to you"
