tl;dr: I escaped the path of being an incel by having a wild week filled with prostitutes, drugs and alcohol in Hong Kong

I recently discovered TRP, TBP, and this sub little over a week ago. I am intrigued here by the discussion of male sexual success, and the struggles some males go through to achieve sexual satisfaction, or "incels" as they are referred to here. For myself, you could say that I was on the path to being an incel, and managed to escape it. I though to tell that story, and see what thoughts you all have.

Childhood

I grew up in a very sheltered home. Not religiously sheltered, but closed off from the outside world. I was homeschooled from kindergarten to my senior year of high school, in part by my parents and an online schooling system in my state(Im from the US). I had virtually no friends, and no girlfriends. My mom was very cuddling to me, but also didn't allow me outside of the home much at all, except for basketball, which I was only allowed to play with dad or her. No experience with talking to girls much at all, and no partying/drinking/travel.

College

So thankfully, I got accepted to a good out of state college, and for the first time ever, was on my own, around tons of other young people.

However, as I started interacting with new people i was meeting, it was apparent to me I was extremely behind in development. I didn't know what weed really did, or what people meant by words like "dank", "dab" or "joint". The amount to which other people felt more comfortable with themselves sexually, was overwhelming to me. I simply felt like I couldn't fit in. I could tell people thought I was sheltered as a kid.

None the less, I began to fall into a deep anger. Not at women, but overall at other people for being able to have so many more life experiences than me. I would be so agitated when I would hear people talking about their hookup last night, or what kind of amazing party they went to.

2.5 years go by. I am now a senior in college, having chosen Econ and stats as my majors, and still a complete virgin. I did manage to have a few dates with girls, but I encountered the same issue as before. The girl, whom i managed to get on a date, would be more experienced than me, and grow bored quickly since I didn't know how to escalate well. I once tried leaning over a table to kiss a girl on the lips but she pulled away and snapped "what are you doing?". Needless to say, I had a lot of trouble with this, and never managed to get over my gap in social and sexual development.

The big change

In my last winter break in college, me and a couple of guy friends took a trip to Hong Kong for a week. My friend's dad is an I-banker who owns a condo there, so we got to stay there for free. For the first time ever, I was confronted with the availability of prostitutes. Literally on every street, and in multiple shops around our condo. After being sexually frustrated and sheltered for years, I finally gave into temptation and lost my virginity to a prostitute. Needless to say, it was the most liberating moment of my life. The way she looked, and how she wanted to pleasure me, and didn't care about me being a virgin, was amazing. It was a fantasy playing out into reality.

The rest of the week was spent doing many things I never did before, like trying cocaine, shrooms, and organizing a small little orgy with a few prostitutes for me and my friends in our condo. It really was an unforgettable experience.

Conclusion

I came out of this trip an entirely changed man. I felt more confident, I actually believed in myself for I change. I didn't have this feeling of being a lonely guy that doesn't get to have any fun or sex. I felt more apart of the college crowd, and didn't feel like an outcast.
