Basically I am writing this post to test my own knowledge of TRP concepts. Not trying to argue with either RP or BP but more like checking if I can summarize at least a certain subset of TRP ideas correctly or not. I am not trying to summarize the whole thing now, only the part that is relevant to attraction.

Basically the idea is that women are attracted to a mans status. However, status has different aspects, objective, interpersonal and subjective.

Subjective status means behaving in a way as if you had high status. Game, especially Inner Game, holding frame and amused mastery and all tht essentially means you behave as if you had high status, and usually this also means - Inner Game - that you more or less must be able to convince your own self that you have high status. Essentially you behave like a king travelling in incognito, watching petty subjects going about their petty businesses with a sardonic smile. Behaving as if bedding a woman would be you giving her a half bored favor. Not showing being impressed by her etc.

Objective status is the opposite end of the scale. It is your actual position on the social ladder. It could be the general social ladder or it could be the social ladder of a smaller group of people. And science says there are two different kinds of status ladder: dominance and prestige. Dominance means a position of actual authority, in this age, it often means just being rich. Because you get to make decision over stuff you own. Or, a position like being a captain in the military means you are dominant in the platoon you lead. Prestige status is different, it is most typically artists and suchlike who have high prestige. Celebs. Stars. They don't get to give orders to anyone but people still admire them as "someone famous". Worth noting, that refusing to to "political correctness", for example, by having RP ideas, generally leads to the loss of prestige status. E.g. in a college. This is the "truncheon" liberals use to keep everybody toe the line. If you get called a racist or a misogynist this basically means you get a lot of prestige points deducted from you. Mel Gibson used to have a lot of prestige status and you could say that liberals deducted a lot of prestige status from him for the reason of not being PC.

Interpersonal status is whether people actually defer to you or not. Do men see you as their leader. Do women naturally behave submissive to you. And generally speaking this kind of status comes from the other two. To easily be seen as a Big Man, you should have both high actual, objective social status, rank, and also be able to "fill out your boots" so behave as if you really believed you have high status, behave in a high status, confident, arrogant way. Behave with good Inner Game.

Generally speaking if you have low actual status but insane good Inner Game (i.e. you can make yourself believe you have high status and behave accordingly) you can still make people defer to you. But it is very hard and works only rarely. Ultimately if you are janitor you cannot convince yourself you are a king. So you cannot really behave with that good Inner Game if you don't have some real, actual status as well. Some crazy dark tryad guys can pull it off, but that is rare. (The Dark Tryad is largely about those mentally ill men really believing they are the most important men ever, that they are the top of the top, and thus behave with unshakable confidence.) Most men tend to not have much better Inner Game than what their actual social status is.

The opposite kind, where you have high objective social status i.e. you are rich and maybe famous, but you lack confidence, lack arrogance i.e. you behave in a way that you don't really believe in your high status, that is a one way ticket to get cucked. Women will marry you but also cheat on you. So this doesn't work, if you are lucky enough to have high status because your dad is rich or something, you really need to grow up to it, and really behave in a high status way i.e. good Inner Game.

A very good example is the movie Titanic, which is the most popular movie for women ever, so it really says something about the female soul. Rose's rich fiance, Cal, as high status (is rich) but does not really believe he has high status, cannot behave in a high status way. He is obviously lacking confidence. He is domineering, which is not the same as being dominant: dominance is calm inner strength, the 101% conviction that you are the natural boss, while domineering is weakness, it is angrily demanding that people defer to you, and if you have to do it, it reeks of weakness. So he is an example of a high status guy who cannot fill out his boots, who cannot grow up to, own up to his own high status and really behave like a high status aristocrat. Meanwhile, Jack is a poor nobody, low status, but he really behaves as if he was high status. He has excellent Inner Game. He behaves as if he owned the whole fucking ship. Despite being a nobody, he somehow managed to convince yourself that he is biggest man on the ship and behaves accordingly. In a very high status way. 200% confidence and even arrogance. He comes across as a king travelling incognito.

Now, I would like to ask RP if I summarized the attraction aspect correctly? I know there are other aspects, like non-monogamy, sultans-and-harems stuff, feminism, and various distortions the media feeds to people, but this time it is just about the attraction stuff.

And I would like to ask BP why don't you believe this? This is almost obvious. Watch the Titanic. Watch what happens in bars. Objective, interpersonal and subjective status (inner game, confident behavior) determines which men get popular with women.
