Nothing wrong with being attracted to 15-19 year olds (as defined by wikipedia) the vast majority of that age group have matured enough to be distinct from actual children. Just dont sleep with the ones below the age of consent in your jurisdiction.

You can thank biology to a small extend, but primarily the culture you are raised in for pushing the sexualization and objectification of children.

As for altering your arousal template - only strict abstinence and finding something to replace it will work, and that is only achievable for a few people. Most people, once their arousal template is set, are stuck.
