I know what it confirms: My stance that we should really stop giving hoes like that any publicity whatsoever.

I mean, stories like these - woman gets guy far above her league, thinks they have a magic connection, gets dumped, complains for the world to see how disappointed and heartbroken she is and how selfish men are - are dime a dozen. And it's practically always presented as if it was some cruel stroke of fate and totally unjustified for him to leave her - when common sense would dictate that (a) not everything is eternal love and (b) he can do far better, plain and simple, and that she shouldn't have expected him to settle for life for her in the first place. I mean, I get it - against all odds she got a guy she could never have hoped to land, and it's hard to realize that at the end of the day, you can't hope to punch so far out of your league forever. If we had a slightly modified gender-flipped version of this, everyone would piss on him and harp about "entitled nice guys" instead of pitying him and telling him how awful that was and how a "real woman" would never have done this.

Men at this level of fame and wealth who are also physically attractive can and do treat women like total crap, and there will still be an orderly queue forming whatever they do.

Her story isn't very plausible because her son had no involvement with him. If this is the case it's rather hard for me to believe that she was deeply in love with him, as how could the relationship possibly proceed without the son having some form of relationship with him?

Basically it was a fling. Now he's gone off for a fling with someone else. Then he'll fuck her off. Eventually there will be an inordinate trail of broken relationships and children on every continent on the planet behind him, and he'll settle down before he needs to start acquiring prescriptions for Viagra.

Men are clearly also negatively impacted by breakups. But since male attraction is about 90% visual, he will find another girl that he likes eventually. Problem is that depending on his SMV, it may be a while before he gets into another serious relationship or even gets laid, thus exaggerating his oneitis.

The key part is that women's attraction towards men is only about 60% visual, and depending on SMV she can get another man instantly. Problem for her is that the majority of other men will not match up to the status and wealth, thus creating an alpha widow. She will have multiple short term relationships in order to reassure herself that she is still attractive, but can never again have a long term relationship without comparing it to her widower.

A major part of women's attraction is admiration and respect for her partner. This is what creates the alpha widow, and is exactly the thing that is absent from men's attraction towards women.

Jude Law back in his Talented Mr. Ripley days would be hard to get over. He's a little long in the tooth and has a lot of mileage. I can't imagine anyone getting too hung up on him at this point.

He's a hoe who pursued a woman out of the blue and then dumped her a year later. Jumping in front of someone's car shows a lack of restraint and a risk-taking personality. A red flag, but she probably didn't know that.
