why is this even an issue? the parts where people are seeking HELP is obviously men trying to raise their SMV either from omega to beta or beta to high beta (beta fux). the other parts are discussion and include a wide variety of men of various experience.

When I found TRP I was not somebody who couldn't talk to women. I dated and had girlfriends off and on for a while and it took dating a "crazy" chick for me to really want to figure out what the fuck I was doing wrong. I found TRP and it really pushed me in the right direction. Was I beta before? I don't know and it doesn't matter. It's the material and how I've continued to push myself mentally physically and spiritually with and without the help of TRP. The community as a whole is in different positions some have never talked to women well and some get plenty of women and lots and lots of them are in the middle. Your argument seems to try and disqualify the entire sub off of a bad premise.

Why would you care so much to fit this idealization of the alpha male? Isn't being alpha about not giving a fuck and not being a follower? If you were absolutely clueless before TRP I understand, but at a certain point most people just go on with their romantic relationships, they do what they want whether its being in a LTR or sleeping around. They learn from experience and mistakes not internet anecdotes from people that already share their worldviews and values.

I totally agree with you that those questions suck but here you make a crucial mistake.

These guys have no experience and they fear getting rejected. So they want advice on how to avoid common mistakes, advice on what works and so on. They can't start with not giving a fuck, you can do that once you have some success and abundance mentality kicks in.

And by visualizing your ideal self you create a discrepancy in yourself between your actual self and your ought self (the one society expects you to be), to lower this discrepancy you can either lower your ideal self or elevate your actual self. It's just a step.

Guys who've been around TRP long enough don't post questions about theory. They post theory. r/asktrp is almost exclusively new members looking for advice on specific situations. Once they learn, they stop asking.

When a man go through his life being told that they can get any girl by just "being himself" he might just believe it. When the girl of his dreams rides off on the motorcycle of a muscled demigod, he gets frustrated. He feels deceived. He see's all the time he wasted based on misinformation. TRP is a set of directions that makes sense to a lot of guys who weren't given any.

Who gives a fuck what natural alphas would do? I'm not natural alpha enough that I didn't buy into all the blue pill bullshit. But I'm potentially alpha enough that I was able to find my way onto TRP, implement it's teachings, and now enjoy a sex life that feels like I'm living in a porn movie.

like giving advice, and frankly I'm a lot better suited to it than some natural alpha. The natural alphas I've met IRL have no clue to what they're doing right, and most of them have game that is suboptimal compared to someone like me who is equipped with the full TRP playbook.

The only disagreement I have here is the most assertion. It's more involved than that. You get the total newcomers who are mostly as you describe, then as time goes on, the ones that engage and stick around and put theory into practice improve. Not everyone does this, and not everyone who does this becomes 'alpha', but they at least become better with women and improve themselves.

I read a discussion thread around a year ago that posited that the true goal of TRP was to 'build a better beta', and while that isn't the goal it is a side effect (a good one as far as i'm concerned).

For obvious reasons, not every man can be an alpha, but not all betas are created equal.

And yes, I for one think there are some successful guys sharing their stories and techniques.
