Blue pill, and I love dogs. I love animals and also have a cat, but dogs are still my favorite. You can be a lot more interactive with them. They are big enough to wrestle with and usually are a lot happier to see and play with you. They are social creatures too so they can bond with us much better. I have a cat and a dog. I love them both but my dog is my bro. The cat just gets pets and chases a laser. The dog goes on hikes, walks, bicycle rides, trips to the park, plays fetch, tug, wrestle, and so on. Just much more of the pet experience. I also have a couple of rats. They too are beloved and fun, but don't beat dogs.

Cats are cleaner and don't lick your face. Dogs actually like you (well, as far as that's possible for animals).

It's like having to decide between a partner who is classy, attractive and thoroughly egocentric, and one who is clumsy and embarassing but unlike the other in love with you.

I like cats best, they purr and don't lick. Also they are easier to take care of then dogs, as they don't get super upset when left alone for periods of time, as long as their food bowl is full.

Cats, they can look after themselves better, if you're out late or overnight dogs will have left you a couple of messes to clean up when you get home.

I like dogs too but they are better for home bodies and those who usually keep regular hours so that they can give dogs the attention they need.

A parasitic microbe commonly found in cats might have helped shape entire human cultures by manipulating the personalities of infected individuals, according to a new study.

Infection by a Toxoplasma gondii could make some individuals more prone to some forms of neuroticism and could lead to differences among cultures if enough people are infected, says Kevin Lafferty, a U.S. Geological Survey scientist at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In a survey of different countries, Lafferty found that people living in those with higher rates of T. gondii infection scored higher on average for neuroticism, defined as an emotional or mental disorder characterized by high levels of anxiety, insecurity or depression.

Choose cats and they will turn you beta/a spinster. It's a conspiracy by the big cat industry to keep you under their control!

Neither, I never saw the point in pets, luckily my parents never pushed it. I guess it would have been better if they pushed it, I would have became less self centered through taking care of another being. But I felt no desire to.
