Of course! That's female camaraderie 101. Don't let your homegirl anywhere near bozos; no he's not "different" and he doesn't love you for you.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My sister once told me that when her and her gf's went out, they seemed to subconsciously arrange themselves to protect the prettiest girl. Table of 4 women, the prettiest one will be in the back corner.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Huh, that's funny. Can't say I've personally seen that happen. I'm usually the sober friend whose responsibility is to make sure that everyone else gets home safe.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

Yes. Women do this all the time regarding "player" types. There are many cases where the statement "He's a player" is not a compliment. The first time I heard it used negatively was actually in junior high ... this is pretty mainstream.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

Yes, its main stream and its the equivalent of a man saying shes a slut and warning other men not to take risks with her.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual18 points19 points20 points 11 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

And since TRP thinks that is a valid concern, I think TRP should also accept the idea that their sexual strategy is a valid cause of concern for women. TRP rationalizes it away with the 'men and women are different' argument, but that does not automatically make it true.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

I don't think trp people are going to buy into chivalry and prioritizing women.

edit - the risks are far greater for men anyway.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual10 points11 points12 points 11 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Who is saying that? That's the TRP idea about 'Blue Pill' behaviour, not what 'Blue Pill' stands for as a discussion point on this subreddit.

You can be a BPer (Basically it means: Non-RP here) without excessive chivalry and prioritizing of women.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

The bp sub was sent up by someone who promotes chivalry for women, a large part of the motivation behind bp is being outraged by men saying similar things that women freely say in the mainstream.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

The bp sub was sent up by someone who promotes chivalry for women

...Does that mean that whatever Redpillschool says on TRP as Moderator applies to the entirety of TRP as well then? Because We've had some very heated debates here from the TRP side that we can't take the opinions of a few to generalize onto the majority of TRP.

The same goes for TBP. Sure, the BP side has some 'white knight'-y people in it. But the majority of people simply doesn't put women on a pedestal

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points-1 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

If it wasn't white knighty and pedestalizing of women it wouldn't view trp as much different from the female mainstream and in many cases much tamer.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

That's your assumption. TRP is in many cases far more extreme than the 'female mainstream'. I oppose TRP because their idea is that they know the 'unfortunate truth' and everyone else is mistaken. My view is that their 'truth' does work for some (or plenty of) women and men, but that it is far from an universal truth.

...Although I am wondering what your idea is of the 'female mainstream'. It's a pretty vague term and I'm not so sure what you count under that term. Could you give concrete examples of what you consider to be the 'female mainstream'?

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points-1 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Its only seems far more extreme because of the blue pill and normalization of the female mainstream.

It just sticks out because men talking about women the way woman talk about men is heresy.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Your argument seems to be "women are saying these things and everyone's ok with it, so when men say these things it should be treated the same way." Have you considered that maybe they're both wrong? People don't take it very seriously as abuse when they see a woman slap her husband in public, but they most likely would take it seriously if the scenario was reversed. That doesn't make it ok. People are wrong for seeing one circumstance as normal and the other as abusive, because both circumstances are abusive. If you know that something's wrong and unjust, don't go along with it and don't do that stuff yourself. If you think it's wrong and unjust for society to be ok with women saying that stuff about men, don't be a man who says that stuff about women, because you'd be just as wrong as those women.

[–]RedPill4LYFHeterosexual Red Pill Man-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'd like to have a discussion about what these valid concerns are, because I think it really depends on what kind of frame a red piller chooses to take for themselves that would give what you're saying about them any credence.

Generally when someone takes issue with TRP, they have latched on to the idea that all red pillers are the same and that anything that gets talked about on the sub is automatically what everyone there must believe and live by when that couldn't be further from the truth.

I can go on blindly defending TRP or we can really nail down a list of what the main concerns are and I can show you how it's not necessarily indicative of what a red piller would do just because it's possible.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The concerns aren't exclusive to men of TRP. They'll also apply to BP men who are promiscuous. It are basically the same concerns as for women. I do not buy the 'it is hard for men to have sex, so being promiscuous is a good thing' - argument that is used as a defense for these concerns.

I may be able to elaborate after I have slept, typing this on my cellphone now.

[–]RedPill4LYFHeterosexual Red Pill Man0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I want to pick your brain on this topic more. Hit me up when you're feeling up to it.

[–]Cuhai[🍰] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You claim that not all opinions on TRP are representative of the majority, but you're wrong. The most ignorant comments get the most up-votes, and any one who posts a reasonable comment gets down-voted to hell. The whole concept of AWALT is ridiculous, the concept that women are driven by biology (pseudo-biology to be more precise)is ridiculous, the idea that men are these super rational creatures is ridiculous. TRP is a goldmine of assumptions, confirmation bias, projection, fear, control, anger, flintsonization, etc. The only situation in which I'd concede your point of view of AWALT, and only as a general rule, would be in very poor or lower middle class circles wherein most people seek to be taken care of financially/otherwise. Anyone who was raised with relative financial security would not fall into your category and I think it's very harmful that TRP is promoting contempt and distrust rather than focusing on the actual issues that cause people to seek money from others. I once took a class called "perceptions"which I would highly recommend to anyone who has been brainwashed by TRP. Here is the course description: This course provides information on the perception process with recognition of the influence one's own biases and stereotypes have on the accuracy of perceptions. Also covered is the systematic view of how individuals can gather the same information (raw data) and draw different conclusions (perceptions), which allows learners to better explore self and more accurately identify their own biases, motives, and stereotypes -

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You will find that people generally don't view non-commital people in a good light.

[–]GridReXXit be like that8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Our aunts, moms, sisters, best friends, female peers, etc... do this all the time.

In the same way a guy might tell his friend who is head over heels with a promiscuous woman "Hey man, she gets around." or "She's a slut."

Women will tell their friends who are head over heels with a promiscuous man "Hey girl, he's a player." or "I don't know... he gets around."

I.E. proceed with caution. He's not the type you want to "fall in love with." Keep it simple with that one.

Lettuce quote from the book of DMX.

Reverse the genders and it's the same... instead of the "kid ain't yours" it's "he has 7 other baby mamas."

You wack, you're twisted, your girl's a hoe.

You're broke, the kid ain't yours, and e'rybody know.

Your old man say you stupid, you be like,

"So? I love my baby mother, I'll never let her go."

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

If I could help it, I'd get every woman I know to avoid useless men.

There are some who are on the same spectrum as these guys though, in that they use men because they feel used by men (similar to the reasons why I've seen guys sleep around, as revenge seems to be a common excuse for the promiscuous behaviour in the red pill). Ideally they wouldn't, as they are only perpetuating the cycle. Hurting people because you've felt hurt is an awful mindset to get into.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Taking emotional revenge through sleeping with other people, or appearing to be would be more associated with the female mainstream behaviour than rp advice though. The whole make the other person jealous or hurt is pretty much a female thing.

If I could help it, I'd get every woman I know to avoid useless men.

Low value men.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I see it in one way or another on TRP quite often though.

"I'm not going to have sex with you because you didn't want to have sex with me back when we were younger, so now I'm going to pursue as many 16-21yr old plates as possible to spite you" actually pops up with embarrassing frequency.

There's also a common revenge thought pattern that is along the lines of "Well women get all the sex and that makes them sluts, so I'm going to have lots of sex because these sluts deserve to be used for being sluts" which is a bit disappointing to see, really.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah yeah thats all true.

I don't go in there so much and the ones here are smarter than the tools in there so I don't see so much of that nonsense these days.

[–]Villaintine╰▄︻▄╯0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You'll usually find what you want to see.

"I'm not going to have sex with you because you didn't want to have sex with me back when we were younger, so now I'm going to pursue as many 16-21yr old plates as possible to spite you" actually pops up with embarrassing frequency.

Those guys are dumb as hell. I'd still bang women that have previously rejected me- it's just fucking. Why would someone let butthurt get in the way of NSA fucking? Unless she's crazy, which is statistically more prevalent in women.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You'll usually find what you want to see.

I was previously more in the middle about the whole red and blue thing, and have only read the red pill to find out how some men rationalise and what they say they want, so I wasn't particularly looking for it. It was just there, often as clear as day.

[–]oxydercesBlue Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Low value men.

Don't twist DeliriousWoman's words to fit your TRP jargon.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I didn't twist her words. I was pointing out that she said basically the same thing RP people say.

If I could help it, I'd get every woman I know to avoid useless men.

Normal, unquestioned female comment.

If I could help it, I'd get every man I know to avoid low value women

That's no way way to speak about a lady, red pill misogynist!!

[–]oxydercesBlue Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I was pointing out that she said basically the same thing RP people say.

Your values being very different, I'm sure that her definition of "useless" isn't quite what you mean by LMV.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

In the context "useless" is referring to suitability / value for LTR.

[–]oxydercesBlue Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My point is that "LMV" means something very specific; TRP has specific ideas about what "value" they are referring to.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, value on the dating / ltr market.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Considering that that's 75% of what we do at RPW, yes

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As a former player, now blue, I personally will warn women about that type, so yes

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, naturally.

If I know someone who was a "player" type, I will go out of my way to warn any friend that he's most likely not suitable in terms of a long term relationship. Financial investment would also be a red flag for me.

[–]UsernameThe4th2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think people should hate players and sluts- they aren't necessarily bad people, unless they are being deceptive or preying on naivete.

But friends should warn friends if they believe the friend is looking for a relationship- they should be avoided like the plague.

[–]babyguineapig2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Good God yes. Men like this are rarely reformed and not worth the risk: have fun with him as long as you use a condom, but don't let him into your life.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

That would assume all PUAs are "bad." They're not. Players on the other hand - those guys are asshats.

Honestly, I would say continue as nature intended and go for the high value man - even if it's Stephen Pearcy or Vince Neil. Only becoming a FtM transsexual will discharge you from the matrix of mass women going for only the tiny-ass handful of high value men.

So A) You may as well say gravity doesn't exist. And B) The matrix isn't necessarily as bad as you think it is. And C) There's a 90% chance she'll be hooking up with a good PUA no matter how many warnings are given.

[–]Lucy_Furrmeh1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would advise not to financially invest in a guy in general. As far as emotional investment in these types of guys who advertise it?...I dated a guy who actually was a former player/party-boy, and he heavily talked down that side of his past. He was embarrassed about his behavior.

A guy who really desires a woman is going to try to read her and mimic what she wants. If she thinks of herself as a "good" woman and the guy doesn't play up his "good" man characteristics (and instead tries to act like a player), I'd consider that a red flag.

as far as being a woman actually advising another woman, it strongly depends on our relationship - has she passed my "girl" tests, or do i just not gaf about her, and i typically word myself more carefully with friends who are a few years older than i am.

[–]SirNemesistitties not tithe1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Obviously yes.

Nah, why?

[–]oxydercesBlue Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Of course. It utterly astounds me that TRP can think that male promiscuity is not a problem for most women. What the hell did they think Don Giovanni was about?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

IDK, I don't either, I know about house and techno.

I'll ask them though.

RPs, what do you think Don Giovanni was about?

[–]wubooAlpha Blue Pill0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But I'm sure in the mind of me and every other RPer, we are the only players we would exempt from this rule.

[–]ppd_FrameEnforcerRed Pill Man1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

For future reference, try to avoid making these things sound too personal to spare us from making difficult decisions. It's technically passable to me because your pluralization of hamster which makes me assume you are referring to trp in general. You also explained and resolved this matter later which simplifies things. This is just a friendly reminder. I know it's easy to forget but many of us are ESL.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Okay, thanks for the friendly reminder. I'll try to watch my tone in the future.

I literally made a post recognizing and pointing out a likely a source of rationalization in an obviously ironic way. If you scroll down, I came out and outright said that was my intent.

If you're that desperate to call me a hamster to take this low-hanging fruit, please go do it on TBP.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

I literally made a post recognizing and pointing out a likely a source of rationalization in an obviously ironic way. If you scroll down, I came out and outright said that was my intent.

It is a sentiment that is shown on TRP though. When women have sex with (multiple) men they devalue themselves, but when they have sex with you as an alpha they do what TRP wants.

So yes...TRP as a whole does fit the statement in your post quite a bit. 'Women shouldn't have sex with men...just with me!'

If you're that desperate to call me a hamster to take this low-hanging fruit, please go do it on TBP.

It was actually a somewhat serious reply, although I should have stated it in a more objective manner. Sorry for that.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Women are already sluts nowadays, so the consesus is to enjoy the decline.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But that's the point- TRP convinces itself and their members that women are sluts, but it isn't an objective truth at all. They focus on a certain kind of woman and think it applies to all women, even when the women they focus on aren't actually representative of the average woman.

The things TRP describes about the 'average' woman? I rarely (if ever) see those in real life. Most women are nothing like TRP describes.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't believe many rp people are actually players.

[–]We_Are_LegionAutumn Red1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, I believed bp people would fully support women warning women off taking risks with people that played the field or any man that might represent a risk to her well being.
