The main relationship, was abusive. So she didnt have a choice. And thats most likely the main reason. She was told if she didnt "put out" that he would get it elsewhere. Then in following relationships, she was afraid of being dumped for not giving sex, so she put up with the pain.

I'm guessing these are the previous alphas you're referring to?

Obviously their relationship isn't working so they should end it.

What would be trp's advice that you seem to be so sure would work and fix all of their problems?

friendzoned? They're in a relationship and HAVE had sex. They aren't friendzoned. Carousel-riding? What do you mean, she's been abused and she's seriously damaged from it. Of course it's better to break up with her if you're feeling unhappy in the relationship. She's unhappy, he's unhappy. What could ever be gained by staying together? They had their shot at love together and it's not working out. Common sense says to break up if love between a couple simply isn't working out--especially after counseling.

The same advice I would give to a woman in a similar situation. End the relationship. If anybody is in a relationship in which their sexual/emotional/whatever needs are consistently and continually being disregarded and it is an established pattern of reality in the relationship, then it needs to end. That isn't a TRP/BP/PP stance it is a realistic one.

Thats a weird question. Like the obvious answer is "break up with her" but I guess TRP would also say that and I suppose they own copyright over that obvious piece of advice or something?

A more suitable challenge would be to explain how "TRP advice" would be substantially better or different from the advice he's already getting from that sub (to break up with her).

She's a very damaged person who needs extensive professional help to heal from past abuse. He would be better off leaving her, as the current situation is ruining both their lives.

He should seek some help himself, as it's very draining to love and be unable to help a very damaged person. He sounds like a great person, who will find love. A much better outcome than dread - gaming yourself a terrorized husk of a person in order to get sex.

I think he needs to evaluate what the relationship really means to him. While I think as bystanders we can say to just breakup, in the end he's the one making the value proposition. He needs to decide whether or not the relationship is still worth the effort.

I would ask him to look at himself critically and see if there's anything he could improve without compromising his character. If he's out of shape, start up a regimen to get in shape slowly. If he's not terribly sociable, then try to be more sociable starting with coworkers or peers. It's hard to give more targeted advice since he's revealed little about himself and not much can be gleaned from his history other than he's on guineapigs a lot, partakes in automobile discussion, and probably subscribes to youtuber Nerdcubed.

As a final observation, he did mention that he was battling depression. I'm unsure if it's the best course of action to try to "fix" his partner if he himself is not fit to do so. Like the saying goes, he can't help others if he can't help himself. He needs to fix his own issues before trying to fix his partner's issues.

Ok im with tbp responses on here. Also i don't understand how trp response wouldn't be "next." Why would a redpiller want to bother turning this situation around? Why not just get with other chicks?
