This is a textbook example of a woman that has never consciously considered her own responsibility for actions in life.

Forget Alpha and beta for a second - her sense of solipsism is practically legendary.

What can you observe in this story of pity and woe?

My observations

  1. She refuses to accept responsibility for her poor relationship skills
  2. It is the fault of men that she is childless
  3. It is also the fault of other men her friends and women are in similar situations
  4. She never consciously realized that her attractiveness was waning
  5. She ate up the Doctor's artificial sympathy like a bass does a shiny lure
  6. Despite being wise to some antics, she still could not control herself.

I think one of the juiciest parts was the doctor's lines, "It isn’t you,” he said. “All day long, I see patients like you. You’re smart, beautiful, accomplished, nice. It makes no sense. I go home to my wife and I say, ‘There’s something wrong with the men in this generation. They won’t grow up.’”

So, she spent much of her youth and beauty poorly, and now wants some guy to see the ravishing beauty that she is, underneath the layer of botox, fillers, and rapidly sagging tits?

So funny.
