I came in here thinking I could sort my shit in 3-6 months tops. I was under 10% body fat, attractive physically, made 6 figures, beautiful kids and wife bla bla. I was a massive faggot emotionally and mentally. At times I still am and completely come unhinged. From what the guys tell me, I'm only part way up the mountain but I can see where I want to go now at least. It depends on how much of a faggot you are and what you are trying to fix about yourself. If you are 300lbs and don't have a job it's going to take a lot longer to unfuck your shit. It's a relative question my man. I'm almost 10 months into my mrp journey and it's not easy at all. A few steps forward, one step back. It's certainly a long con and you shouldn't expect anything to happen quickly.

Alright. Two nights ago we were talking about working out. I go to the gym and she does home videos.

As we’re talking about where we were sore, the 6 y/o asks why she has fat in her belly and I don’t. She tells the kid that men are more efficient at losing weight then women. I have work ahead of me also, but to be honest this work doesn't feel so much like work when you change whom you are at its core.

My wife and I have been separated for a week and a day (yes I’m counting for that 1 year mark) so exactly one year into finding MRP.

Depends on how much of a faggot you are n the beginning, how long you take to swallow the fucking pill instead of staring at it, how difficult you make it for yourself, your awareness and control over your own ego, and then how willing you are to stay consistent in all areas (lifting, reading/studying, gaming and socializing, dress and hygiene, goals and attitude, finances, family dynamic and leading in the home, etc.) FOREVER. All in all, it’s very rare that a guy stumbles across the RP and actually gets to the point where he is 100% operating in his own frame, has a few goals accomplished and moving onto the next, and actually improves his life for him (never mind the rarity of a man actually discovering this information at all). So in short, it depends. It’s relative to your level of faggotry, sperg, ego, consistency, and will, of course. No one can answer it for you and there isn’t a cookie-cutter One Size Fits All! plan. Even once you open that door and “turn things around”, you realize the beauty in that it never ends. That’s the point. You can go from Chad to the eye-opening nightmare examples we read about in a matter of a year, hell, even months. But it could take three years to go from being an absolute eyesore of a faggot to where you actually want to be. And if you are an embarrassment and decide to “lick the pill” and half-ass/lie to yourself, that could easily be five. It’s up to you. The process of actually improving is endless but it depends on the factors listed above.

Lifting is probably the single biggest thing you can do. It all helps, but that's the foundation of everything else. Conventional wisdom is two months for every year that you were doing things wrong.
