Honestly I don't understand all this "acting like a man" bullshit construct. Overall professional business behavior is relatively gender neutral and women don't forcibly try to change their behavior to mimick a male.

Some of us naturally already have some masculine qualities but this weird Flex about women in business acting like men seems to come from somebody who doesn't seem to work in a or know anything about a white-collar professional environment.

One of the biggest advantages from all this proliferation of identity politics bullshit is how much it inadvertently helped me feel more manly... if what I am saying makes sense.

All these ladies trying to be a man and act like a man around me in places of work, and I feel more at ease because I don't have to "try" and be manly. It just comes for me naturally.

One of the biggest improvements I have seen from girls is that if I tried and act manly "ironically" , they genuinely show interest towards me. Think Ron Swanson except less obvious. Which was a confident booster that came out of nowhere lol. These bitches are so fake that they like my ironic shitposting IRL more than my true self. And, that ladies and gentlemen is how I found success with women after a long period of self pity and moping.

If women here read my comment, go ahead and try it yourself ladies. Pretend modern day feminism doesn't exist for 10 minutes, and act like a stereotypical woman in front of the mirror and see how it makes you feel. (watch 50's movies for reference)

You may like "Brainwash", a surprisingly deep and insightful show by a Norwegian comedian, each episode he tackles a controversial subject and talks to researchers across the world about it. In the episode dealing with gender roles, he finds that the richer a country is, the more likely women are to choose to fulfill traditional gender roles. It is not that poverty and evil patriarchal culture are holding back African and Muslim girls from doing STEM, it is the other way round. In a poor country with no social welfare, intelligent women will use their intelligence to do the highest earning job, regardless of whether they like it or not, doing what you like is a luxury. Thus you get an abundance of women graduates in medicine in Iran, across Africa etc but when you look at places like Norway and Sweden where you get to do what you want to do and still earn a decent living, more women will choose nursing or being a caterer. Heck, you can see gender role preferences in infants choosing toys and styles of play, even in other primates.

The problem then isn't gender roles, it is being FORCED to do a kind of job you'd rather not. In the third world you are forced by poverty, and in parts of the first world, you are forced by social expectations, attempted feminism that defines what women should want for them etc. These are population level phenomena, there are going to atypical women who don't share the group preferences but that doesn't justify ignoring the preferences of most women or demeaning them. Funny enough if you look at US stats, the fancier the university you went to the more likely you are to be a stay at home mom or work part time. Is Harvard teaching women to be stay at home moms or are women who go to Harvard more likely to meet and marry a man on whose income they can afford to be a stay at home mom, which was their default preference?
