The biggest issue i had was finding guys who didnt already have kids. I refuse to date a guy with kids. I dont want them in my life, if the relationship were to progress.

Not too bad.

I had two LTRs fall apart due to the dude failing to convince me to get knocked up. Not a big deal to me. Obviously not a good match.

There were plenty others who didn't care or who enthusiastically agreed.

Whether or not to have kids is a deeply personal choice. No matter what you choose, you're bound to question whether or not you made the right decision. I've gone through short phases of wondering if I made the right choice, but ultimately I am VERY grateful and happy that I am childfree.

Hasn't been an issue and now that I'm 40s, guys looking for a potential mom for their child are less likely to engage with me. But men are like the Hydra, chop off one dick and 2 grow back in it's place.

It wasn’t an issue at all for me before I got married, and now that I’m back out there, it’s still not an issue. If anything, me not being a single mom is a major pro in the eyes of men

It is weird that some of these guys have kids themselves, though 🤷‍♀️

Lady here. I don’t want kids, dating has been fine. But I’m reaching the age most people have or start thinking about kids so I wouldn’t be surprised if it starts affecting me more. Although, at the same time it’s easier to avoid all that when you’re a bit of a vagabond not leading a traditional life.

Being female and childfree is definitely a plus in the S/RMP! A lot of men don't really want kids and even the ones who say they do tend to be negotiable.

The issue is that people date you and are all cool and then with time start bringing that shit up like a fantasy but backing from it if you confront them. I really believe all those people who say they were open and all but their partners 5 or 10 years later showed that they never actually comprehended it. I mean no one is going to not date you for this (unless they are really on a mission to breeed), but they wont seriously consider it either, they'll think future is still open

I chose to have kids, my brother and his wife chose not to. We had a conversation one time about those decisions. He said once he chose not to have kids he felt he had an obligation to live a fulfilled life that is possible without kids. He lived a life that most people would be envious of, money, travel, adventure, etc.

The greatest tragedy would be to not have kids and not fulfill a lifestyle that not having kids allows you.

I imagined it to be very difficult if I was looking for an LTR. Especially in wanting to date black women. But I was happy being single.

I got dumped over it once in my teens but in retrospect I'm not sure that was actually the issue. Hasn't really been a problem since, although it's possible/probable that it was a factor in why things didn't work out with some of the guys I've dated. I'm pretty upfront about it so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a reason I've been ghosted.
