Body language does provide subconscious messages. There’s no doubt about that for both genders. Does it prove hypergamy? That part is a load of excrement.

The supposedly rational male is a perfect example of what I’ve written about all things Red Pill; an occasional nugget of wisdom buried in a huge pile of manure.

All this article has done is examine a few pictures and then applied a red pill philosophy to them. I think the lesson you can learn from this is how to frame a decent couple picture and not any RP philosophy.

Of course a person's body language tells you things about how they feel, but that has nothing to do with hypergamy or "betas" or whatever. People who are interested in a conversation tend to lean in to the other person. People who are disinterested or want to get away tend to sit back. But that has more to do with conversation than posed photographs, in which people consciously alter their body language.

You should definitely pay attention to women's body language when interacting with them. If a woman is leaning away when you try to get closer to her, she wants out and you should back off. But that doesn't mean she sees you as "beta", it means she's not interested in you. Women don't sort men into alpha and beta categories. Sexual and romantic relationships aren't that formulaic. Believe it or not, we view men as individuals and decide how we feel about them on an individual basis.

I can't take an article which cherrypicks pictures from the internet as anything but bullshit.

Of course we all humans respond with body language. We respond very differently to people we like compared to people we don't like. People will lean towards you if they like you + 1000 other body language cues that we can recognise.

If you are an unatractive guy for whatever reason, people will lean away. Has nothing to do with being alpha or beta. Men who view men as "alpha" are simply attracted to the man in question for whatever reason.

It boils down to "alpha"= being attractive and approachable.

The author sounds so jaded! He clearly has a dislike for females (referring to them as “the sisterhood” and pulling the unfairness card). This cannot be taken as gospel as it is only his opinion, and to be honest not a very convincing one!

Meanwhile I don't have girls leaning away from me during conversations and interactions and I'm still single, so yeah. In all seriousness body language is wayyyyy more complex and difficult to read than a lot of people make it out to be. If it were that easy everybody would be a master at knowing people's intentions and that's just not the case.

I'm not even sure how I ended up here but as a 26 year old female who has had many experiences in relationships and casual flings...I personally don't think the idea of beta or alpha even exists. And those that think it does, are probably insecure and are simply looking to feel superior to something/someone else. Same with masculinity and femininity. They're characteristics of humanity...everyone embodies aspects of them that are masculine or feminine. It's just crazy in our culture, that we've deemed 'being sensitive' or 'expressing/showing emotion' to be considered feminine...and those on TRP highlight the aspects of toxic masculinity by seeking to reject everything that is feminine.

What I'm getting at is: body language is typically a subconscious expression of feeling, whether it be desire or interest or even lust. If a man was leaning in while talking to me, I would take that as he is listening and/or interested to what I have to say...which is a huge turn on for me personally, and I would most definitely be wanting to be equally engaged and listen to this man/get to know him as well. The absolute last thing on my mind would be categorizing this man as weak or less than, because he was 'leaning in' while I was talking.

TLDR: Showing emotion or interest in a woman through body language, doesn't make you less than, and is actually usually a turn on for most women.

The big problem with TRP is that you see is true IRL. You can explain thing you were not able to.
