Being discarded was the best thing that ever happened to me. I’m so glad his new girl came along when she did. And while I do feel bad for her, it’s not my responsibility to rescue other pickmes. Im grateful that I’ve had this time to focus on myself

Same he discarded me for another pretty girl and my instinct made me get so insecure that he’d date this girl and not me. But the truth is she did me a massive favour as he just needs someone new to feed his ego and take his narcissstic emotional abuse without questioning him like I did. I feel for her but it’s not up to me he will always find another girl to fall for his superficial charm.

That’s exactly what it is. They crave the newness of fresh prey that that hasn’t been torn down by their emotional abuse yet. I knew our relationship died when I explained to him that I was communicating my needs to him like he had asked me to but he wasn’t doing anything about it. That’s because he didn’t actually want me to communicate my needs, he just want me to sit down, shut up, and be a good girl

True. I lost a bunch of weight, and my first boyfriend after losing that weight left me for someone heavier, who was completely submissive. Made me realise the weight thing is a red herring.

I went the opposite way. Despite all my weight gain he still never left me. He only left when I ended things. He was happy to continue abusing so long as I allowed it. He hated my body thin and he hated my body fat. They are just consumed with hate that physical appearance makes no difference at all. They want a subject and they don't care what they look like.

They want what they want and sometimes it makes no sense. I had an ex that said he wasn't attracted to blond women and women who are very thin. He ended up leaving me for a blond girl who's very thin, married her and had kids with her. At the time I tried to make sense of this, but it's not worth it. They'll say they want one thing but then go for another. It is what it is.

I thank my stars everyday that my lvm ex cheated on me. I put up with a lot of his bullshit and if it wasn't for his cheating (that's one boundary I couldn't let even him cross), I would still be in a miserable and abusive relationship with him.
