For both men and women: the most attractive people that show interest in you, will have issues.

Mentally unstable people know they're unstable and pick partners slightly less attractive than they'd pick when they'd have something to offer in the relationship. If you are the most attractive girl he has access to, you can get away with murder. If you are the only Chad who she's dated, you can treat her like horseshit.

So for all men who only "run into" crazy girls, the solution is the same as for women who only get pumped and dumped or only "run into" assholes: the next person you date is going to have to be significantly less physically attractive OR you need to become significantly more attractive.

Age matters I think.

The good ones are often taken by mid 20's and in LTRs. Even in this period the average age of marriage is 27 for women and thats after years of dating.

I think for a guy looking for a life partner, the hardest age would be mid 20's to early 30's women since if they were not snatched up already they probably have issues.

By early 30's some divorces start to happen and in cases where the guy was the issue some more sane ones are back on the market place.

Depends on what you consider "mentally healthy" -- do you mean "normal emotional range with standards and hobbies", or do you mean "meek, perfect submissive waifu who likes to be dominated"? Do you mean "capable of surviving independently, tough and self-reliant and emotionally controlled"?

I think it's better to first consider what type of temperament works for you, sort out the best means of screening for this type (which means having the guts to reject people who aren't this type, even if they are perfectly "healthy" in the technical sense), and to try and make yourself more appealing to that type of person.

Example: I pretty much an introvert. For my own stability and happiness, I need time to myself where I can reflect on my experiences in peace. If I'm trying to date an extro woman, it would NOT work because she would need far more consistent social stimulation than I am able to give. So it's up to ME to recognzie that, even if a woman is perfectly healthy and reasonable, if she has needs that don't align with mine, neither of us will be happy. She won't get as much as she needs, and I'll never get the peace that I need. So, being a mature adult, it is my responsibility to not date extro women, even if they want me to.

However, if by "SMV" you mean CASUAL SEX, then all bets are off and you're setting weird expectations. You don't have to care about long-term compatibility - you will ideally never see them again lol. You aren't really going to find a lot of grounded, level-headed, "mentally healthy, well-adjusted" women lining up to get pump and dumped, why would they, they're healthy and well-adjusted and most women don't want to be pump and dumped.

You could be King of the Chads. Expecting a "mentally healthy" woman is asking would still be too much.

All of them, every last one of them, is prone to crying at the drop of a hat. They all have hidden triggers that will cause them to lash out. Unsaid expectations, the desire to modify your behavior to suit her needs both build into an unstable temperament.

You can "choose" better, in that you can focus on girls with higher education that come from "healthy" two parent homes - but often those are just masks for her true feral and predatory nature. So passing on girls with neon colored hair, 420 friendly, visible tattoos is not enough.

And any girl willing to accept your paltry SMV doesn't merely tolerate you - she sees you as a "win", which gives her incentive to deceive.

You do not have a way out. A man must accept life for what it is, not blindly think the rules do not apply to him.

There are no unicorns, and you're going to have to deal with the woman in front of you. Better to have the personal strength to cut a girl off when she goes on one her benders.

The value of that woman is on the higher end and yours on the lower.

Also, no matter how it bugs some of us, not being something bad adds little value. Like if you have mental health issues it deducts considerable value, but if you don't, well, it's simply something people already expect. It makes me salty when I list bad things that do not apply to me and realize it doesn't help, but that's how the world works.

... but are you possibly captain save-a-ho? I have a couple of buddies who seem to subconsciously pick women who are damaged because they're pretty and he wants to rescue them from their circumstances. It never works. That might be something to examine about yourself. If you're getting attention at all, you're probably doing better than you think.
