I love it so much when I have to eat shitty food and then clean everything up because my boyfriend is ☄incompetent☄

I swear every man who says "I can cook" right up front is the worst cook in the world. Theyll be cooking but they're gonna serve you a burnt egg on rice and then leave forty pans for you to clean

While they are gaming of course! No energy to do anything productive after the absolute bare minimum of half-assing cooking a meal.

That just sounds so infantilising. “Tell them how you made it!” as if she were bragging he could stand up on his own two legs without help! You know she is just trying to encourage more of this “helping in the kitchen” behavior but she sounds like his mommy not his wife, poor woman

I have one of those. The husband’s “famous baked beans” he brings to every event.
They are literally Bush’s canned baked beans which he sprinkles with some dried onion.

Or my ex's 3 Bean Salad which consisted of 3 different kinds of canned beans and dressing.

Lmao although she meant it good, she embrassed him by making him seem so incapable and useless lol, which he is ofcourse!

Awful. He's the kind of dude who gets his wife to bake brownies for HIS office pot luck. When a male coworker brings something his wife (or worse, girlfriend) made for an office pot luck, I never look at him the same again. Pathetic.

Lmao, what a story. Does she just overvalue men and think the bare minimum is amazing? Or is this out of some sort of desperation cause she's aware he contributes absolutely nothing so she's trying to turn it into something?

No cus its a turn off when a man can’t cook, also a turn off for men to get “angry” in the kitchen. I’m not in denial about that lmfao 🙌 being able to cook is the bare minimum. Want more for yourselves !!

Figuring out how to substitute onions for shallots in a pinch without throwing a tantrum is the bare minimum. Of course, that's assuming he knows what a shallot is.

A man going into hysterics because he can’t find the slotted spoon is whatever the opposite of a kink is for me

I seriously dig it when they relate to my struggles, but since many of my struggles revolve around dudes who have tried to ruin my life, they often feel cornered into demonizing me.
I actually think this is a huge reason men "can't relate" or "don't understand" women.
Nobody wants to feel bad about what their gender is doing.

That reminds me of a twitter thread I read some time ago: a woman asked what kind of things men do that we find attractive, people replied with common stuff like "driving" or "cooking", and I though I was weird because what I find most attractive in a man is when he puts effort in showing he's interested in me 🤣

Getting angry about inconsequential, every-day shit is so unattractive. "Waaah boo hoo, this rice is taking longer to cook than the recipe says, I'm gonna slam doors and swear a lot like a child boo bloo hoo!" Do you want to live with someone like that? Hell no!
