Men are being violent and misogynistic? Let's pretend we love it, we're in control of it and that it was our idea all along. Who doesn't love being strangled until it leads to brain damage or death, prolapse and diaper forever from anal, being scarred and traumatized by all the other forms of abuse, being used like a living rag for casual sex with casual STDs and not so casual orgasms, risking having babies with some neglectful trashy cheap abuser, turning blind eye to women getting tortured in porn, being called names, objectified, disrespected and being under constant pressure to compete and perform for male gaze, attention and approval? I think the whole women choosing to sleep with lots of men was portrayed as 'empowering' because for once women could choose to have sex for their own pleasure and choice, not just because men want to, or for men's pleasure, or men's choice. There's the whole bullshit of if a man sleeps with lots of women it's seen as an 'accomplishment' yet women who sleep with lots of men are seen as 'easy' 'sluts' 'hoes' 'whores' and no longer viable to date. So hoping to demonstrate that women enjoying sex doesn't make them whores or not 'girlfriend' or 'wifey' worthy.

BUT obviously this has not worked for many reasons (as you said it's not logical that sleeping with men easily and all other activities means we'll suddenly be seen as equal. 'liberal feminism' basically equates to the continuation of women being sex objects or servants to men, or being seen as it, and worst of all women supporting it and choosing it which is cool because freedom of choice is the most important thing. Thus men benefit.) Some women on here have made good posts about it and are much more educated than me.

I personally identity as a radical feminist and I think fds overall doesn't really agree with liberal feminism.

You all rock, but that was the original place where I learned that I don't have to turn into a conservative just because I don't want to become public property for whaterever random men that want to use me as their personal fleshlight. My self esteem never again hit rock botton since I discovered that sub by pure chance at 21.

This is embarrassing to ask but I might make a post about this. I was wondering if anyone could educate me on the feminism that FDS gears towards? From this post I’m assuming conservative feminism?

I’ve always had inherent compass within me that was baffled why women sleep with men so easily the way men sleep around and then call that female empowerment. Why women think this type of behaviour will equal equality makes no sense. Why do women want to be equal to men when we are so clearly above them in terms of more HVF over HVM existing (sorry not sorry).

Maybe someone will have some book, YouTube or podcast recommendations they enjoy, because a lot I’ve heard are about women paying in order to be seen as equal and blah blah.
