What are some good podcasts to listen to? I’ve got a long ass drive to and from work every day and I figured I can use that time to learn something instead of listening to music

Naval's stuff is great; Tim Ferriss would be a good shout too.

For a long ass drive I'd get cant hurt me audio book. They do a podcast between each chapter on audible and its fucking fantastic. Takes about 9 hours I think

[–]AnneStaz5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

I did this once and fucking hell that drive felt like 2 hours when it was really like 7 or 8

The No Agenda Show with Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak.

They deconstruct the news and expose media lies. I first heard of the red pill from them, even though they are both blue pilled .

Donovan Sharpe is #1 for RP podcast.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy

I looked him and found that this was his pinned tweet. He seems like a dweeb tbh.

[–]empatheticapathetic4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

He’s a bit dumb/basic but people resonate with different styles.

[–]PayneGreyWolf1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Don’t judge based on one post off his Twitter, go on his YouTube channel and listen to a video that piques your interest and you’ll see the value in his message. The way he breaks down the way modern women think is great. Another podcast I listen to is Rollo Tomasi's (author of Rational Male) but Donovan is more entertaining/relevant to me.

[–]GonadGravy6 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy

Donovan Sharpe is a poser, I tried listening to his show several times but he just comes off as someone who understands TRP principles but his artificially inflated ego is too much for me.

I agree with the top comment about Jocko and JRE, even if Rogan has become wishy -washy in later years.

[–]PayneGreyWolf0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Idk man, to each their own but he has his girl literally trained. Only reason I know about Donovan is through Rollo Tomasi, another great I listen to. I forgot Rogan but he’s another solid podcast, I do agree he’s become wishy washy though. Only guys I listen to consistently are Donovan, AMS, FitXFearless

[–]GonadGravy2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Do we actually know he has his girl trained? I had my last one trained...until she wasn’t. We don’t ever hear about what goes on behind closed doors.

My point is this: He and the rest of them all attempt to project an image of “Alpha”, but to me they are inconsistent and incongruent. There’s something off about most of these guys.

I used to respect him more , but after some time I have a few things against Rollo. He did a good job capitalizing on TRP and was the first one to compile all the facets into a book. But he did not come up with the material in the Rational male, he simply formatted it and put it up for sale. All the info in his book was available on the early forums. But he took credit for it.

Rollo is not the rock star he thinks he is. He always wears a beanie because he’s insecure about his balding issue, he has been married and has zero actual experience fucking women in today’s sexual marketplace. Again, his words are true, but inconsistent with his actual image vs the one he implies. He just reminds me of a man child who never got over his high school fantasy of being a rock star.

That being said, I would still advise newbs to read the RM first and foremost.

We have to really vet who we look up to for leadership and guidance in this community, just like we get women.

Dr. Drew was on “whiskey ginger” recently and went into some modern relationship dynamic shit that was pretty interesting.

It’s not TRP related but the gentlemen on there are quite red pilled. “Mike Drop” great podcast. Mostly has war vets on it being that the host is a ex SEAL and K-9 handler but it’s a great podcast. Exactly what you would expect from a bunch of alpha dudes who were trained to kill. Not everyone on there is ex military and surprisingly not every hard ass warfighter is as Alpha as you might think. Definitely in my top 3.

Check out the Johnversations Podcast. Each week there’s a new guest with a different life story or perspective. It’s great for long drives. Also office ladies and JRE!

[–]hssbeen0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I saw a couple of people asking for recommendations and I mean this is just one podcast that I listen to. It’s a group of guys talking about life and it’s kind of interesting/funny and you have the option of sending them things to talk about so it shows they interact with us that listen. I’m a female and I enjoy it! And my brother loves it too! Just a recommendation that’s all! 🙃

Depends on your line of work man. If you’re in digital marketing, listen to gary vee or neil patel or Amy Porterfield. If you’re an entrepreneur, there’s a gold mine out there. I recommend masters of scale by Reid Hoffman. Maybe tell us your field of work

[–]pogo4322[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I’m a model. I have to go to the office 4 out of 5 days a week and it’s about 45 minutes one way.

I also day trade options as a supplementary income.

But yea I was looking for any recommendations you guys had that are good listens... doesn’t have to explicitly be red pill talk, although I do find that quite interesting to listen to as well.

Edit: I would like to make that my full time income once I get too old to model. I recently got interested in learning about other forms of investing like real estate
