Dread game works the same. Women will want her man more when she realizes that his value is higher than she previously estimated. She wants the bargain, or in the above case, she wants to keep the item she's already paid for because it's going up in value.

It's easy to see how dread game works. Not going to deny it. However, is it really going to keep a marriage together if you've made the mistake of marrying a particularly selfish woman? You can put a bandaid over the relationship with dread game, but red flags can be seen all over their relationship. Is this really going to fix a marriage?

I will agree that marriage counseling is a sham likely more that 99% of the time. But I have a singular anecdote that was shocking when I heard it. I have an Army buddy who is about to finalize a divorce. He's always been one to jump into relationships and he's made some really bad decisions. I've recently turned him on to the Red Pill mainly because of this incident. Long story short he got married to an Army chick (never ever LTR a military female, ever for any reason) who had a previous military husband. They moved to Texas after our second deployment after getting married while overseas. BP him let her run the whole relationship, apartment in her name, made him put her on the title and insurance to his vehicles but not him on hers, etc, etc. Just total domineering type. Apparently she wasn't like that at all before they got married. Shocker. BP him is trying to salvage the relationship, all while she's kicking him out every other week and making him sleep in his car. He suggests counseling and finds a counselor through some veteran program. It turns out the counselor is a middle aged Hispanic female. They meet with her together the first time and then each take turns talking to her separately. She makes an additional appointment for each of them separately, and another joint appointment. The wife skips both her individual one and her second couple one. My buddy goes to each.

From what he told me, when she was talking to him one on one, she was basically telling him that his wife is completely in the wrong and later on actually suggested divorce, some smart steps to protect his stuff, what to document, how to make sure a separation is official on paper so new debt isn't counted towards him, and some decent divorce lawyers that are good working with soldiers. The marriage counselor basically walked him through how to divorce his wife and keep as much of his shit as he could. Maybe because she was Hispanic she was raised to respect traditional families more. Who knows. But I was shocked when he told me.

So wife lost interest when the kids were born and a couple years old. This is the time that we're wired so that the man leaves the family to seek new pussy, and the kids have survived infancy and can be raised by the women of the tribe.

We don't do it that way any more, but that's how our brains are wired. It happened to me. I've found it happens to a lot of men.
