There’s plenty of girls who do this for their partners and go above and beyond. Pick better. Also if you feel like you’re ‘forcing’ yourself to do those things for a girl instead of actually wanting to, probably the wrong person.

It's the result of our traditional gender roles. Traditionally a man courts you and you just allow him to do so and, well, you should look nicely. That's all. I hope it will get better as we've moved quite away from "men are providers, women are housekeepers", but some things take more time to go than others.

There are also a lot of things that both men and women do for each other in LTRs. Helping out, preparing some small surprises, thoughtfully choosing a gift, cooking their favourite dish, taking care of some tasks that they don't have time to do, meeting one after work with an umbrella if it rains etc. It isn't something that only men do.

I’m really sad about all these shitty relationships people on here seem to have. Once I’m in a relationship and feeling secure in it I’m the most romantic bitch in the world. Some dates that I’ve done for my partners have literally made me wet for myself from how thoughtful I am. Most of my female friends also treat their boys real well.

I don't think you can generalize. It sounds like this is just how your relationship is. It's normal for both partners to check in on the other and do things for the other.

Women have it too good in modern society. Spoiled. And guys are too thirsty, she know she can replace you in 2 nanoseconds with any of the 30 guys hollaring at her every day.

It's like women live in a washing machine of positive validations, and men just get beaten in the dirt by media, laws, each other, cops, and everything else, it's very male-negative environment.

All you can do is keep on keeping on and try to demand your self-respect.

My girlfriend does all of that, and more. And I do a lot for her as well.

Some of us are raised to be mindful and grateful of other people's efforts. She was raised by her parents to be very grateful. I grew up more spoiled, but I learned myself to be grateful of the things that I have, then she taught me some more about gratefulness.

And I know other women which are like that with their partners.

Find the right girl and see how was she raised by her family. Beware of entitled brats or those who grew up spoiled.

Become Chad (or the equivalent for your race) girls do all kind of shit for the men they truly love, you just have to understand a women’s love, Eros which is pasional love is what you want to aim for (this is very sexual) and it is what works with them, remember they also can feel Pragma (another kind of love), but this latter one is the BB, so you don’t want that trash.
