The thing about celebrities is that you so often hear about how debauched they are behind closed doors, especially when it comes to womanizing. As long as the money and fame gears keep turning, you can literally beat women to near death (not suggesting that's ok) and they'll keep showing up at your door. If anything guys like JGL are being straight up Machiavellian. Instead of hating them for not being openly weird we should be thinking about how to emulate how they make this shit work for them.

Shit, I'll admit I do this to a lesser extent in my own life. I'm not going to go out of my way to promote BP ideas, but nor am I gonna commit social suicide by taking up the RP mantle. It's just not worth it.

I would liken being consciously RP now to being openly gay 20+ years ago. Back then it was so dangerous and socially/financially crippling people would go to ridiculous lengths to hide it, it wasn't safe to embrace until a critical support mass formed in the underbelly of society.
