I went to a restaurant with a fraternity brother and his wife. At this restaurant you pay at the cash register up-front rather than at your table. We waited there for a couple minutes and then walked outside.

When we got outside my friend's wife said, "Are you completely oblivious?" That woman inside was trying to get your attention. I didn't notice her at the time, but I am somewhat autistic. She was somewhat upset about this. Later they mentioned I could go back to the restaurant to try to talk to her.

Is this an attempt to get me on the plantation or am I reading too much into this?
