tl;dr: I wore a suit and a flashy watch around campus and the amount of women that showed interest in me doubled.

<b> body </b>

I am not an attractive guy by any means. I currently do not focus on women, I am focusing on maintaining good marks at university, and growing my savings account. Nonetheless, I have read countless times on AskWomen and TwoXChromosomes that women "don't care about money" and only want a guy "who can handle his money well". I have also talked to a few women about this, and they say the same. However, I know that this is grade A bullshit, so I went to test it in the field.

I normally just wear a flannel shirt, sun glasses, and jeans to university, however today I put on a full suit, a tie, and a flashy watch. The change was instant. The girls in my classes who normally wouldn't say a word to me, started talking and joking with me. I would normally have a few empty seats next to me, but today they were filled up with girls. They also sat much closer to me than they used to. Our professor asked us to split into groups to discuss a question, immediately, the girls in my immediate area looked to me and started to ask me what I thought about the question. This was pretty insane.

<b> lessons learned </b>

All in all, I always knew that women looked for money and resources in a man, but I wanted to confirm it for myself in the field. It was an interesting learning experience which I really feel I will grow from, and use in future circumstances.
