People here generally seem to enjoy celebrating that women over 40 are doomed. But this really doesn't have to be the case.

I know this guy, just became thirty or something. He got together with a woman that was more than ten years his elder, already had a young child from a previous relationship and despite her still being fairly pretty, she definitely looked her age.

Now is he some loser betaboy? Not really. Has his own successful business. He is extremely fit and boxes. He also has genuinely good looks. They now have a child together.

With a little bit of charm and a lovely character an attractive woman in her fourties can still lock down a fairly successful and interesting guy. The problem is, that you don't really come across truly charming (older) women.
