The unfortunate ignorant men of MRA think putting a woman as their speaker will make women listen to them. What they don't realise that no woman cares about men's struggles and all that shit. She will care about how you benefit her to the point where you stop doing so, and by stopping you are essentially sabotaging the relationship. Briffault's Law is always true, no matter what place, what culture, what country or what women it is being applied to. That's it, end of story. There is a huge difference between what MRA men think reality is, and what reality actually is . They think laws becoming equal will solve their issues. Lol, just lol. It won't do jack shit. Women are always women. You can't stop female nature by putting a few laws equally in place. You are just delaying the inevitable so that you can pretend to be content in your safe space. Maybe making laws equal will make her give you pity sex in the bedroom, or maybe she will stick with you a little bit longer than usual. But it will not be genuine (just like it never was genuine from the female's side in the first place).

Basically they think their fancy equality/egalitarian nonsense will somehow "fix" their problems because #FemaleLogicAppliedToMensRights . But when reality strikes, these same people will whine in subs like amItheasshole, relationship advice, divorce, deadbedroom etc etc.

Oh you poor guys, when will you learn? Only we care about you, not those women who pretend they do.

They want special treatments like women. But the problem here is : women are treated special at the expense of men and by making men a disposable tool while giving women benefits after benefits just for being born with a vagina. Don't bother looking for it now as the domain was taking over by a dick enlargement site but I founded and ran an international men's network for 7 years, which I gave up on about 15 years ago and fucked off to Asia So, my take:

Did they achieve anything? Yes, they have done a lot to raise awareness that men also have valid issues, that feminists lie a lot and to force the equality thing to be upheld for BOTH sexes. As an example, you CAN now sue an employer for treating you like a cunt just because you're a man. Only MRAs making a loud fuss made that happen, as before some such laws existed but were never enforced for men; no lawyer would touch them, no prosecutor would prosecute etc.

That's no longer the case and men have sued successfully quite frequently now.

Why do we use women as spokespeople? Have none of you fucks noticed yet that the moment YOU speak out you're a "small-dicked incel that hates women; who hurt you?" When a woman speaks out on men's rights that shit doesn't fly, and both men and women will listen, especially if she's pretty.

Now, as to WHY men's rights activists have such a hard time is precisely because both men and women have a natural bias towards women. Tell women about men's issues and they don't give a fuck. Tell men about men's issues and they don't give a fuck.

Spot the (fucking) pattern?

Now, if you want a clear-headed and well-written example of what men COULD be doing, written by a (pretty) woman, read the last chapter of 'Why Men are On Strike' by Helen Smith. She lays out the reasons for MGTOW very well, and then goes further with some solid examples of what men COULD and SHOULD be doing to protect themselves, even if they decide to stay MGTOW.

Another good thing about MRAs if they have given us 30 or 40 years of well-documented examples of what doesn't work. When I founded my org I was one of only 8 MRAs I could find in the entire UK and nobody had a clue what to do, what not to do or which of the 8 was the police officer leaking everything we tried.

Today you have an entire 'manosphere' of blogs, movements, orgs and such, some of which are utter shit or co-opted, and some of which are fucking amazing, like the MGTOW non-movement movement.

MRAs have their place, and my respect for at least trying, but unless they follow the kind of advice of Smith or take the gloves off like the feminists did in the 60's they're not making much progress per lifetime.

MRAs have basically not accomplished anything meaningful, but it's not for lack of trying. Turd Flinging Monkey is a prominent example of a guy who was an MRA before he realized how the system cannot be fixed and he became MGTOW. I imagine this is not a rare occurrence.

The reason why MRAs can't get anything done is because women vote. Women have an ingroup preference while men have an outgroup preference (i.e. for women). IIRC the best case scenario is that we're outnumbered 8 to 1, meaning that for every 1 man who realizes how fucked men are, there are 8 women and/or cucks who will scream over that 1 man. I don't have the source but I do remember this number being thrown around, in that only ~1/8th of everyone in this poll thought that women had too many rights (which means that they're the only ones not fucking retarded and cucked).

You'll also notice a common theme with anything even remotely redpilled. For example the average woman and cuck won't believe a man disproving the wage gap, they'll only listen if a woman says the exact same thing. This is why MRAs and even regular ol' conservatives put women into their groups as props, but the sad thing is that while it may work short term ("oh look a woman is saying X, maybe it's true, nevermind that men have been saying X for years and we just called them misogynists"), it destroys the group long term because women are incompetent and selfish and will eventually ruin everything.

At this point, MRAs are basically delusional or pussies that refuse to actually take the red pill and become MGTOW. They think that the system can be fixed, they think that they can convince the average person to their side through facts logic reason and evidence when it's very clear that the average person is a fucking retarded cuck/feminist that will just plug their ears, shout you down, and outvote you. MRAs still believe in egalitarianism which is simply not true; men and women are not only unequal, but men are just better overall. Obviously some women can make the cut, some women will actually legitimately care for men (if even for just selfish reasons, I'll at least respect them more than feminists who openly call for men to be castrated and enslaved), but the exceptions prove the rule.

Well, there is one specific reason they use female speakers. Women are sometimes in a unique position to be whistleblowers because they see the abuse from the inside. There are several on YouTube, but a very vocal Family Court whistleblower is Carol Rhodes, a former Child Support Enforcement Officer. She even wrote a book called Friend of the Court - Enemy of the Family (unfortunately, it's out-of-print and difficult to find; wonder why?).

You can listen to her speak for a couple of minutes in this video at an MRA rally.

I've read portions of the book. It's truly horrific and heartbreaking. If you're a man, Family Court is designed to run your soul through a cheese grater and throw your life in the trash.

Through my own speculation and observation many members of MRA organizations seem to be adopting MGTOW principles. Some of their online groups seem to emulate our collective perspectives on this reddit forum. So I did what every good activist would do: talk to the people around me. Show them what they are missing, when they speak of gender imbalance. Their reply? "Stop hanging around on those toxic sites".

So I did. Went my own way and stopped giving a shit about society and relationships.

So to answer the original question: yes, MRA do achieve a lot. If you really care abour your rights and still have some functioning brain cells, MRA can only lead to MGTOW and they help us grow.

Imagine a man talking about his problems, how society views that. We generally look down on men that are struggling and in need.

Who do we listen to? Who has instant credibility? Women. Some of the most successful MRAs are women because they're allowed to speak.

We don't want to hear men say they have problems. Society cannot afford to admit that men have problems because society, in general, including individual women, and depending on men to SOLVE problems. This is why there are no shelters for men, school programs for boys, scholarships for boys, etc....

It's always about what women need. But at least female MRAs are not told to check their privilege and STFU. They are at least allowed to share their views.

In this way, unlike with feminism, it is actually more impactful and effective for women MRAs to speak. Feminists would never stand for men to be leaders in their movement. But because men are taught to never complain or ask for help, it's left to the women who care about them to be their voice.

That's the big question. At least in US, the rate at which women are being awarded spousal support has been steadily declining, along with the amount and length it is being awarded for. There have also been some developments when it comes to how child custody is awarded by courts. But even then, only about 10% of custody hearings are decided by court anyway. Same goes for acceptance that female on male domestic violence exists, and that in 50% of all domestic violence cases, the aggression is mutual. And finally, it continuously highlights that there are some risks and challenges that predominantly affect men.

But that is not the question you're asking here. You're asking if it's OK to hate them for failing to deliver on their promises, and associating with women. For which, the only answer I can give you is that MRA and MGTOW are not attempting to defeat women. MRA chooses to promote the fact that double standards for men exist in the society, where MGTOW chooses not to engage with the society, because double standards exists. Which way you choose to go, and to what degree, is up to you. After all, you can't wake up someone pretending to be asleep.

Neither group is religion. You didn't shed the chains of blue pill ideology, just to replace it with a different brand of ideology. See what each have to offer, what they do, and decide for your self, if you want to engage with them in any way. Don't dismiss anyone, only because people tell you to.

Well the basic problem with "Men's Rights" is you are condoning/operating from a position of "daddy government."

You want daddy to be fair to men.

Instead of saying "Wait a minute, faggots, WE'RE DADDY."

That being said

I still think it's beneficial to have such a movement in the west.

MRAs have taken to allowing women to be their speakers because when they use men all the cucks and cunts have a tantrum and shut down the talk/rally/event. And the women who do play the role of spokesperson are generally rather involved in the movement and mean well. NAWALT might be a trigger word for many of my fellows here, but in this such case it's true.

Cassie Jaye is a notable turncoat who is now lightly at war with feminism and disowned by the gynocracy. There's others, Australia's Honey Badgers are a smaller group, but still present. Not a lot is getting done, sure, but there are women responsible for spreading awareness of men's rights issues and men's mistreatment in society, even highlighting the ways women contribute to that mistreatment. Where many men are silent or even silenced by women, some handfuls of women are there to take up the cause alongside the grizzled men who have already been lambasted and ridiculed for speaking up.

Don't get me wrong, the only area the MRM is getting anything done is India and even that's very back-and-forth. The west is a loss on all fronts other than the entrenchment of the next generation of men. Maybe five or ten years from now it'll be different? The MRM is playing a long game, longer than the lives of lots of folks in it. Since WWI fellas have been thinking about their treatment and position in society, been a long time coming.

And the MRM has quite a reserve ready for an insurrection if anything does get rolling, just from looking around here. I wouldn't think you'd all stay sitting in your trenches if you hear the clarion call. The playing field can be even, and when it is I'm sure you'd like it. The only question is if it ever will. That's the MRM's game.

I think it's great that there are women involved. The Honey Badgers are wonderful folks.

I have this to say about relationships and how MRA gets them wrong: equality and equity are not the same thing. I will illustrate with the example of dancing.

In dancing, the men always leads. This is not because of any inherent “misogyny” but because the men are usually taller, so it is only feasible to have them lead the dance. If anyone can get the shorter partner to lead the dance, let me know.

In the same way, relationships are built on gender roles, not because these gender roles are based on misogyny, but based on practical concerns. men are given more freedom than women because men have a lower risk of cheating than women. Even if a man wants to cheat, he still has to put in the hard work unless he is the top 10%. Meanwhile, a woman just needs to go and open her legs and there will be a line of men round the block willing to have sex with her. Therefore, the risk of infidelity for a woman is so much higher, so the freedom is apportioned to them in distinct quotas to put them on an equal page.

You know how it is, the so-called patriarchy. A man in no way, shape or form can understand what it is like to be a woman, and by the assessment of "female logic" there is a societal assumption that those men's opinions don't mean a damn thing.

It's not that I don't appreciate the MRM's efforts, it's a matter of whether they are effective at all. The evidence just doesn't seem to be there.

I personally think the MGTOW movement is much more effective. We are just saying enough is enough.

I was redpilled the hard way in a child custody battle and I'm indefinitely cured from regarding any woman as being able to achieve equality with my grandiose self. Alas, my sons are now raised for a dreadful awakening as adults in an increasingly misandric environment, unless they inadvertently stumble across some red pill by themselves before it's too late. I would love to be MRA no really a Men's Right's Activist.
