My brother who is at uni now got them a few years ago before the controversies but it’s a good spot. Beta male leftist university loonies are probably the only audience left that will entertain buying that stuff. Out of the last 10 gas stations I went to I didn’t see 1 Gillette razed off the rack that had been sold. I can’t wait for them to file chapter 8. I think it will make any big company think twice before doing something like that again.

I'm old. I used to take the commuter rail from the western suburbs into Boston's South Station, right by where Gillette had a huge distribution center and maybe even did some manufacturing. This has been going on for years. I went to Uni 2000-2004 they had reps there during the first week handing out razors every year. The Gillette razor model was to get the handle in the hands of users so they will buy the replacement blades. Blades is where they made their money.

So this isn’t a new tactic. And it isn’t specifically in response to their swan dive into an empty pool.
