Went on a date recently with an woman who made me wonder. She was older, 40, and a former model still drop dead gorgeous. She said something that confused the hell out of me. "I prefer betas to alphas." The subject changed pretty quickly after that statement and I didn't have the where-with-all to consider asking her what she meant by that. Do you suppose there's a big misunderstanding as to what alpha is as opposed to a beta, or are there actual beta-hunters... and if so, why? Why wouldn't the woman just go with an alpha that gives her better/bigger tingles?
